Isidingo’s Attack on Christianity

Isidingo is a soapy that has been running on SABC3 for many many years.  They have always managed to keep the drama very suspenseful with captivating story lines and dramatic actors.  The story is based in a mining town called Horizon Deep.  One huge mine is owned by the Sibeko’s – a powerful family that stop at nothing to get what they want.  A then there is the megalomaniac Barker Heins who is wealthy as wealthy can be and if you cross his path he wont hesitate to have you removed from planet earth.  Lincoln Sibeko the father of the Sibeko Gold empire and Barker Heins are are at odds with one another.

There was also a shebeen owner, Georgie Zamdela who was a gangster and you did not want to get into his bad books. Recently his daughter Nina Zamdela come into the script and she took over the shebeen and it looks like she wants to take over the town of Horizon Deep as well.  Then there are the other characters that make up the rest of the story, the towns people who get up to all sorts of mischief and arguments with another another and fall in love and out of love as often as they change their socks etc.

A few months back a new family was introduced to the soapie, a poor family – the wife Zukisa Zondile is the house maid to the Sibekos and the husband Sizwe Zondile is a miner that works on the Sibeko mine.  From the start they came across as a Christian husband and wife and would always pray before they ate.  Of course Jesus Christ’s name was never mentioned, it was just “…thank you God.”  You knew they were church goers as well but in the story line at the time there was no actual church that was part of the story line.

Pastor Gabriel and his Holy Waters Ministries

Until recently, up popped Pastor Gabriel and his Holy Waters Ministries.  Nina Zamdela, is a gangster herself and she has taken a lustful liking to Pastor Gabriel.  So has the wife of Siswe.  Zukisa has fallen for the Pastor and ended up kissing Pastor Gabriel one night in his office.  Nina knows that Zukisa has fallen for the Pastor and told Sizwe.  He confronted his wife and she lied and said that Nina is making us stories. But there is definitely a thing going on between Zukisa and Pastor Gabriel as she goes to him with her problems and he hugs her and holds her hands.  To make matters worse Pastor Gabriel is in cahoots with Barker Heins doing money laundering through the church accounts.  Barker Heins claims he has seen the ‘light’ and reads the bible only to somehow continue on in his criminal activities.

And the blasphemy starts

Well ever since Pastor Gabriel and his church popped onto the scene the words that are coming out of the actors mouths have left me cringing.  For instance, the daughter of Lincoln Sibeko was arguing with her father about going away together on a holiday and she was upset with him and told him that she had no time for her father, this included Jesus’ second coming as well.  Pastor Gabriel appoints Sizwe to be Deacon of the church and appoints Zukisa to be supervisor of the soup kitchen and tells them they need to stick together like the Holy Trinity.  Every word that comes out of the Pastor Gabriel’s mouth is “God told me this” or “God told  me that”.  He even elevates himself to God’s level that when others speak to him, well you might as well be speaking to God himself.  Pastor Gabriel is nothing but a false teacher that the bible warned us about.

2 Corinthians 11:13 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.”

2 Peter 2:1 “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”

Matthew 24:11  “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”

Health, Wealth and Prosperity in Isidingo

Pastor Gabriel sets up a conference called the Prosperity Conference where all the people of Horizon Deep were invited to listen to Pastor Gabriel tell them all about Prosperity;  he tells them they need to open their wallets and give generously to the church.  Pastor Gabriel tells Siswe that if the church is not prospering then they are failing God.  In fact if the church is not prospering then it’s a sign that the people in the church have no faith.

The writers of Isidingo clearly don’t know that there are different denominations of Christianity out there all believing different things. The denomination that the Isidingo’s writers have drawn their inspiration from are the Word of Faith group.  Isidingo’s writers do not know that there are many false versions of Christianity and that genuine Christians frown heavily on false doctrines.  The writers have taken a false verson of Christianity with all it’s evils and portrayed it on TV as “this is what Christianity is all about”.  And everyone that is watching Isidingo, which is half the country if not more is told by Isidingo;  “look this is what Christianity is like”.  Look at it, it steals money from the poor to make the church rich, the Pastors have affairs, and there are possibly even criminal activities taking place inside the church.  When the Pastor speaks the Word of God he is lying and so is the Word of God – its all a big lie.

Why has Isidingo attacking Christianity like this?

Because it’s so easy to do so? Because when you look at what is really going on out there in the these so called ‘Christian’ churches, Isidingo’s script is not far off.   The fact is it is true, the false harlot church is nothing but corruption with fake healings and dealings, with the pastor having an affair when and where ever he can.  But because the pastor is a Man of God, you can’t question him, ever – that would be like questioning God himself.

Is there another reason as to why Isidingo has attached Christianity like this?  Most definitely.  To show it’s viewers that Christianity is nothing but a false belief that needs to be eradicated – that Jesus Christ the son of God is not the son of God, He and His Word is a lie.  They want the viewer who is a Christian that belongs to a church that is similar to the one they have portrayed on Isidigno to wake up, and realise that it’s all false and….deny Christianity and follow another path.  They also want the viewer that is not Christian to never entertain the idea of Christianity because it’s all fraudulent.  Isidingo is using the evils that abound in false Christianity to mock genuine Christianity.

The thing is Isidingo does not show you the truth, well they can’t show you the truth, because they have an agenda – Isidingo wont tell you that the version of Christianity they have presented to you in their script is false and evil, and that there are genuine Christians out there, born again Christians who detest these false versions of Christianity because it leads people astray, it hurts people emotionally, and worst of all the end result is that it sends multitudes of souls to hell.

Christianity and nothing but Christianity

Isidingo could have chosen any religion to attack, but instead chose Christianity – as its full intention was to mock the church and Jesus Christ.  The Dawn of the New Age is here, and a process has been put in place to wipe Christianity off the face of the planet – well that is at least what the Evil Powers That Be that run the world are trying to try do.

14 September 2015 begins “Anno Lucis”  that is “The Year of Lucifer” and “The International Year of Light” and the 23 September 2015 is the start of the NEW AGE.^[1]  Luciferianism and Paganism is in and Christianity is out.  All throughout the world Christians are starting to be persecuted in countries where one never believed it would happen – like America for instance.  A definite shift has taken place. If you are New Age, Pagan, an Occultist, a Yoga practitioner, a Hindu, a Spiritualist, a Buddhist, a Satanist, a Practitioner of Meditation, even a Muslim etc., then you form part of the global community at large as you all speak the same esoteric language and the spirit of ‘fire’ connects you together.  Christians on the other hand are excluded from the global community because the Holy Spirit that abides in every born again Christian will never connect with someone that has a demonic spirit guiding them.

Isidingo’s story line is a full on attack on Christianity as a whole.  Is this the start of the things to come in South Africa?

John 15:18-21
“18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.”

Who is Isidingo and ‘Endemol’?

Isidingo is owned by Endemol.  Their logo is an eye, representing the Eye of Horus.  The name Endemol was made up by it’s  Founders names: John de Mol and Jr., Joop van den Ende.^[2]  Ende and Mol put together to create Endemol.  However Endemol is also an anagram for ‘El Demon’.   “El comes from the Hebrew Tanakh and means the name for God and the root word means ‘might, power or strength.’ “^[3] 

A powerful demonic god runs Endemol.
