Retha McPherson’s Message from Another God – (Part 1)

Retha and Aldo McPherson - A Message From God

Retha McPherson’s Message from Another God

There is a whole lot I want to write about Retha  McPherson and Aldo McPherson, their story is so strange I don’t quite know where to start.  I suppose the beginning will be the best place.  In order to unravel the mystery behind Aldo and his mother I’ve had to analyse their book, A message from God – a 12 year old boy’s experience in heaven from the first page to the last page and then write down my findings in an order that makes the most sense.

But first, lets take a look at this Youtube video, where Retha McPherson is interviewed by Sid Roth, who has a program called “It’s Supernatural”, and believes in absolutely everything without testing it to scripture.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qL9X3kQKWGg&w=340&h=240&hd=1]

In New Age teaching the false holy spirit becomes the predominant player, he replaces Jesus Christ. The false holy spirit operates through your Third Eye that has been opened through unbiblical practices; he connects you to ‘god’, he gives you revelations, visions and dreams.  Retha states on page 1 that the “Holy Spirit”  is her best friend, instead of mentioning Jesus Christ as being her best friend.

Retha McPherson admits that she was a carnal Christian before the accident that left her son Aldo brain damaged.  In other words she professed to be a Christian but was no Christian at all.

I was a churchgoer and a member of a renewal congregation, but we were spiritually dead. There was a void in me and a I didn’t know how to fill it.”  pg 11

Again on pg 27 she states of herself and her husband,

I don’t mean to discredit  my husband when I say this, but both he and I were spiritually dead and until that point we’d never had such experiences in the Holy Spirit” pg 27

As an unsaved ‘professing’ Christian who has been conned by Satan into following a false Christianity it is easy to see how they would fall for the experiences the false holy spirit gave them.

We do not know all the kinds of New Age teachings Retha was getting involved in before the accident, mostly she does not mention all of it, but one thing is for sure, she was sure into something occult orientated because what happened to her the night of the car accident did not come from the God the bible.

There is a terrible doctrine doing it’s rounds and it’s gaining momentum that states that you need to symbolically sacrifice your life, your kids your family, whatever, to Jesus Christ in order to get saved or in order for Jesus Christ to accept you fully. You find yourself constantly ‘sacrificing’ yourself to God for your salvation never attaining any peace.

Retha McPherson said, “I had to live through a terrible tragedy and huge suffering, before I was finally willing to sacrifice everything, including my son to God.” pg 5

and again Retha thinks that we lay our lives down as a living sacrifice to Jesus, she says.

Jesus is coming for a spotless Bride: those who will lay down their lives as a living sacrifice to Him.” pg 6

This is totally unbiblical, nowhere in the bible are you to ‘sacrifice yourself or our children to Jesus Christ in order to get saved.  Jesus Christ is our sacrifice, He laid down His life for us, His blood washes away our sins.

The Holy Spirit does not purify with fire but with water, the Kundilini false holy spirit purifies with fire, she says,

I tried to quench my thirst with all sorts of things like perfectionism, fame, wealth and achievement, But, now that the fire of the Holy Spirit has purified me from inside out…” pg 6  She quotes 1 Cor. 3:13 and says that this verse “teaches us that the works of each person will be tested by fired and the fire will be reveal the character and worth of the work each one has done.” pg 7

Actually no, this verse means this:  “Every man’s work shall be made manifest.” This is at the judgment seat of Christ, the BEMA seat.  Believers will stand before Jesus Christ.  “For the day [that is, the day of Christ] shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire” – Jesus Christ is going to judge everything by His standards, not ours, so there will be purging, a testing fire of divine approval, discernment, and righteousness.  “And the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.”  Jesus Christ will try and test you works of what SORT, not how much, but what sort.  There may be much that amounts to very little, but “of what sort it is.” that is what counts.  Our hearts are made manifest before God.

Retha McPherson then says, “when you are baptised in the Holy Spirit, and receive ‘it’s fire, you’ll experience the fullness of God” pg 7.

Again this is not true and a misinterpretation of scripture.

Matthew 3:11 v 12  “Indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

John says that Jesus will baptise you with the Holy Spirit (for believers) and fire (for non believers) NOT the Holy Spirit AND fire or the Holy Spirit IS fire.  John carries on saying that Jesus will gather His wheat into the barn BUT burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.  Fire is judgement, Jesus Christ saves those who accept Him and judges those who don’t.

God speaks to Retha McPherson.

Even though Retha admits she and her family are spiritually dead, she tell us that God speaks to her.  She says,

while sitting on a beach on day, God spoke to me and said, Retha, the Lion of Judah lives within you.” pg 11.

1) Well now, this is impossible if you are spiritually dead, 2) Jesus does not live inside us if you are not born again; this is a New Age concept of the ‘Christ within’ 3) The Holy Spirit should be living in her if she was saved but she was not saved by her own admissions.  So this ‘god’ is telling her that the Cosmic Christ abides in her.

Then God speaks to her again, and says, “Retha, I want your life,” pg 12.  Retha answers, “Lord my heart has been yours for years now, What do you mean?” God replies, “I don’t want your heart.  You’ve given it to many men before.  I want your entire life; your being; your very essence.”  pg. 12

Wow, let’s just stop right there.  What kind of satanic nonsense is this?   “You’ve given your heart to many men before so I don’t want it, I want your life?’  What this god is saying is that he is not interested in her ‘heart’, he want’s her ‘soul’.   What does the bible say about the human heart?)

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Matthew 15:16-20  And he said, “Are you also still without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled? But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.”

What is in a mans heart is what defines him, if you have Jesus Christ in your heart, then you are saved, if you do not have Jesus Christ in you heart/life then your heart is wicked and unrepentant.

Aldo as a child before the accident

Retha McPherson is not sure if Aldo was saved before the accident, she says,

He was just an everyday teenager. Did he server God? Well he attended a youth chuch regularily and had been on a youth camp right before the accident happened.  In fact, when he’d returned from the camp, he confirmed that he had accepted Christ as he personal Savior.”  pg 12

Retha then tells us that when Aldo was 4 years old,

God gave us a prophetic promise through a black man, Louis Maphungu, that we would have another baby and that it would be a boy“.  pg 13

I just have to interject here but I find it amazing that people can fall for such silly con-artistry as there is always a 50% chance the prophecy would come true.  Just by believing in silly divination such as this you have opened a door for Satan in your life.  Anyhow Retha gives us the answer as to whether Aldo was saved or not, on pg 79.

Aldo says, “Jesus wrote the Word on my heart when I was in heaven with Him. I was dead, but God came and blew His Holy Spirit into me, and I was alive!“.

So before he was in the car accident he was not saved as he did not have the ‘holy spirit’ in him, when he was unconscious and on his trip to heaven, that is when he supposedly receive the ‘holy spirit’.  It is interesting to note that the idea of God blowing the Holy Spirit into someone is an occult idea and stems back to the garden of Eden when Gnostics believed that God blew His Holy Spirit into Adam, thereby making him a ‘God’.

God breathed the Holy Spirit into Adam

Retha McPherson says that.  “The moment you are reborn, God blows the Spirit of faith into your nose, just like He blew physical life into the body of man when He first created Him. It’s Ruah (literally breath of God) that gives life” [Emphasis added] pg 149-150.

I mentioned above that this is Gnostic teaching that God blew the Holy Spirit in Adam thereby creating a man that was on par with god.  Notice Retha says,

“…..first created Him.” ‘Him’ with a capitol letter, denoting that Adam was Divine.

I had no idea and neither is it mentioned in the Bible that Adam was a God.  This is occult teaching.

Genesis 2:7   And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

So, what is the breath of God? It is the Spirit of God, given to man to bring him to life both physically and spiritually.  The ‘breath of life’ is not the Holy Spirit.  God breathed into man His own Spirit. This means that God has connected Himself to man in the most intimate way possible. Man is related to God and has the same breath as God, the breath of life.  Since God has breathed His Spirit into each one of us when we are born (not born again), we should long for Him with every breath to be born again (Psalm 42:1). For as Jesus, our Lord and our Savior, has promised: “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled” (Matthew 5:6).

Further, the breath of God is the life of God. And the life of God is life that lives on and on, the power to live eternally. God’s breath is not temporal; the breath of God lives forever. As such, we, the recipients of the breath of life, will live eternally. The only question is where will we live? Heaven or Hell.

The car accident of Retha Retha McPherson and Aldo McPherson

Now we do not wish ill on anyone, and it was a tragedy that befell the McPherson family.  However for the sake of the Christian world out there we need to analyse what happened   After the car accident Retha and her husband found their son Josh crying and they were relieved, but they could not find Aldo, it was dark and they searched and searched and search, frantically.

Retha McPherson says, “The Spirit of God led me to the other side of the highway.” pg 19 where she stumbled over Aldo’s body.

A vehicle was making its way towards her and she stood up,

I realized that my whole body was strangely shaking; convulsing.  Then a warmth enveloped me and a supernatural peace that I couldn’t explain filled me, amidst all the fear, pain and anxiety.” pg 20

What happened to Retha in that moment when she stood up, is that all the trauma from the accident activated the Kundilini spirit at the base of her spine.  She started to strangely shake and convulse, as the serpent moved up her spine she felt heat and was engulfed in warmth and she felt blissfully at peace.  How do we know this was Kundalini, carry on reading to find out.

What was Retha really practicing and reading before the accident for a strange ‘god’ to speak to her audibly like that (without her being saved) asking her for life?  One can only imagine what she was delving into; New Age materials, possibly even Yoga.

A black man got out his car by Aldo’s body and started shouting,

“In the name of Jesus Christ, this boy will live! He will not die,  This boy will live and he will not die! He just kept shouting on this affirmation“. pg 21

Retha McPherson was confused and asked,

Where are you, Lord”  His answer? “Look at that man. Right now, he is my hands and my feet.” pg 22

So the black man is God?  Is this biblical?

1 John 4:1-3   1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Retha I am sorry but by biblical standards you deny that Jesus Christ is the son of God.  Jesus Christ is the ONLY God to come as Flesh, to say that God had entered this black man and was now operating through his flesh is unbiblical.

Retha McPherson’s Supersition

Aldo was in the hospital,

Retha says “But when I left the hospital that Friday night, I was afraid to go home; afraid that Aldo would die.  Job 3:25  warns us that whatever you fear, will happen to you.  I know from personal experience this is true.” Is this true?   Retha then quotes 2 Cor. 10:5 and says, “I have since had to confess and bind all these fears and thoughts in the name of Jesus“. pg 25

Firstly…

Job 3:25  For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

This has nothing to do with superstition.  Job was being tested by Satan, and Satan used the things he feared most against him to try and turn him against God this was a once off situation that happened to Job, pre New Testament.  Jesus Christ has died on the cross for the whole world, and has taken the keys of life and death from Satan.

Secondly

2 Corinthians 10:1-9   1 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you: 2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s. 8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed: 9 That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.

This has nothing to do with fear and binding fear. This is Word of Faith doctrine and misinterpretation of scripture.   The genuine explanation of this scripture is as follows: We do not behave in a fleshly way, but our weapons, which are those given us by the Holy Spirit, are “mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”  This verse speaks about the minister, he is not sent to preach wishy washy eloquent tickle your ears sermons, but to give people the Word of God, the Truth and nothing but the Truth, and the effect this Truth has on the conscience of the people brings their very thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Jesus Christ.  When the minister speaks, all human reasoning should come to an end because God speaks, the people should be in readiness to repent and that there may be absolute subjection to His will.

Mantra / Word repetition

It’s becoming more clear that Retha McPherson was definitely involved in some kind of New Age teaching that involved Mantras.

mantra is a sound, syllable, word, or group of words that is considered capable of “creating transformation” (cf. spiritual transformation). Its use and type varies according to the school and philosophy associated with the mantra.    Mantras (DevanāgarÄ« à¤®à¤¨à¥à¤¤à¥à¤°) originated in the Vedic tradition of India, becoming an essential part of the Hindu tradition and a customary practice within Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism.   —> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantra

At the hospital Retha speaks to Aldo and tells him that she can see that he is dying, she says,

“I tell him that I’m letting him go so that he can go to Jesus…” pg 25  Aldo replies and says, “Mommy don’t say it. Speak life over me, Speak life“. pg 25

Retha says “I remembered how we would say goodbye every morning when we went to school.  With his backpack over his shoulder, I’d ask him what the password was, and he’d say, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. Love you. We would repeat this ritual when he came home again in the afternoon….” pg 25-26  “In my dream I then said, “You will live, and you’ll have life to the full,” “I kept on repeating it until it became a refrain.” pg 26

What does the bible say about rituals and repeating words?

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

But it get’s worse…Retha says that the verse John 10:10 comes to her,

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” she says, “I didn’t realize it at the time, but I wasn’t merely uttering words, I was speaking life into his spirit”. pg 26

Ghasp!!  You were what Retha?  Does your incantation have the power to bring someone back to life? But hang on you quote John 10:10 where the ‘life‘ that is mentioned in that verse is spiritual life.  Who gives us life?

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

According to Retha McPherson , Aldo is getting life into his spirit, by way of her.

Retha says that, “I declared that he would have life abundance. Tinus agrees that we would only speak life from then on. God tells us in Prov. 18:21 “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”  pg 28

Proverbs 18:20-21  20 A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Oh no, Retha the real meaning of this verse is this; Sinful words will lead to death, righteous words bring life.  Words seldom fall idly to the ground. The Christians should be encouraged to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ as he steadily moves his way through life. He may be assured that “with the increase of his lips shall he be filled” But if their words are evil, the harvest is just as certain; and it is well known that weeds flourish where nothing fruitful cannot grow. The man of unholy lips will find abundant result from his gossip and will as surely as the righteous man “eat the fruit thereof”.

Contemplative Prayer to enter God’s Presence

Often we give up too quickly in prayer. Instead we should perservere in prayer until we enter into His presence so that we may receive a Rhema-word (a living word) that will change our lives'” pg 73  and,

We can only live a victorious life, if we remain in His presence every minute of the day.  The only way we can be constantly aware of His Holy presence, is to pray continuously.” pg 82

Throughout the book Retha McPherson constantly speaks about entering God’s presence, but this is not the Biblical understanding  genuine Christians have come to understand regarding God’s presence, no, Retha is entering God’s presence through Contemplative Prayer / Meditation.

Contemplative spirituality is an extremely demonic and dangerous practice for any person who desires to live a Christian life.  Contemplative prayer does not involve contemplating while you pray.  Quote the opposite in fact.  Yes, the Bible tells us to pray using our minds (1 Corinthians 14:15), and this is also meant as contemplation. But praying with your mind and the unscriptural practices of Contemplative prayer are two different things.

Contemplative prayer begins with Centering prayer where the person will focus on a word or a phrase and repeats that word over and over for a period of time. As we have notice above, Retha has shown us in her book that she is into repeating Mantras. The purpose of repeating words is to clear one’s mind of outside negativity so that God’s voice may be more easily heard. After completing the centering prayer, the person is to sit still and wait and listen for direct word from God, and then feel and enter His presence.

This might sound innocent, but it is an occult practice and you will connect with something other than God.  The bible describes how one should pray, and it does not involve, ‘waiting’ and’ silence’  “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God..” (Philippians 4:6)and  “23And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16:23-24; . Jer 29:12; Matt 7:7; Matt 21:22; Mark 11:24; Luke 11:9) .   These verses clearly show us that biblical prayer is comprehensible communication with God, and not an arcane, mystical meditation.

Contemplative prayer is designed that the person who practices is will ultimately have a mystical experience with God (not the God of the Bible, but a god). Mysticism, however, is purely an emotional practice, and does not rely upon facts at all.  The Bible on the other hand is the Truth and we can rely on it. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. ” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).  Everything we know about God is based on fact because it comes from the Word of God.  The moment you start to trust Gnosis or experimental knowledge over Biblical knowledge you place yourself outside the commandments of Scripture and you disobey God.   “Christian” Contemplative meditation is no different from the meditation used in New Age cults and that of Eastern religions.  The most avid supporters embrace a spirituality which promotes that all religions (all paths) lead to the same God, where the Bible states, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”  (John 14:6).

Another way to enter into God’s presence is through Soaking prayer which is another esoteric practice. It focuses on obtaining a spiritual experience by seeking out the presence of God and then resting in God’s presence. This is done by playing some gentle worship songs or soaking worship music, either sitting or lying down, and praying short, simple prayers for an extended period of time, the same as with Contemplative meditation, keeping your mind free of other thoughts – removing negative thoughts. At the point when you sense God’s presence through some type of manifestation like tingling skin, a sensation of heat or cold, or even a gentle wind seemingly blowing through your body, you are to just “soak” in that presence.  Soaking starts off innocently, but quickly deteriorates into a trance-like meditative state.

All forms of Contemplative prayer as it has been modernized into the modern-day prayer movement, is unbiblical and should definitely be avoided at all costs.

Retha says, “When you’re surrounded by His loving presence  you’ll never feel alone.  After a while, you’ll be so tuned into Him that you’ll feel His presence 24-hours a day.  His love will engulf you like a mighty wave and you’ll need nothing more.” pg 116-117

As you can see this presence is not the biblical presence of God that is mentioned in the Bible by a mystical presence.

Dreams and visions of Retha McPherson

Retha McPherson says, “I didn’t know that God still spoke to His children in dreams today. And yet, He does.  He speaks to us through His Word, through dreams, visions, nature and people. In fact, God is continuously speaking to us; we are just not always listening; we’re not tuned into Him, and cannot hear the soft voice of the Holy Spirit whispering to us.” pg 26

Firstly, in the Old Testament God spoke to His people via dreams, visions and prophecies.

Secondly, in the New Testament, the Holy Spirit that abides in born again Christian speaks to us and points us to the Word of God.

Retha has told us numerous times that she and her husband are spiritually dead, there has been no conversion, no real acceptance of Jesus Christ in their lives, therefore by their own admission the Holy Spirit has not come to abide in them.  So what is speaking to Retha? What is giving her dreams and visions? What is the source of all her strange unbiblical revelations?  Certainly not the God of the Bible.

Thirdly, there will come a time again during the tribulation when God will pour out His Spirit on His people and they will dream, have visions, prophecy, etc.  See this article:  –> Your Sons and Your Daughters Will Prophesy, But Not Yet…

Fourthly, God does not ‘speak’ to us through nature.  Nature is not a divination tool.

There are verses that say:

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

Psalms 19:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

This tells us that mankind has no excuse to deny that God exist because one just has to look at the creation of the world, it can be clearly seen that is a miracle beyond all understanding and a God had to have made it all.  Does God speak to us through nature? No.  This is a new age concept, to look at nature and imagine God speaking to us through his creation.  Yes we can marvel at nature and the heavens and learn from them, but to say God speaks to a person through nature, is not biblical, you may as well put tea leaves in a teacup and read them – it’s divination.

The Bible vs Aldo’s message

She compares this book to the level of the Bible,

You are not holding a here book in your hands today. You are looking at a message straight from the Father’s heart to everyone who reads it.” pg 6

Aldo also says,

“God sent me back to tell the world that Jesus lives!  We have to be obedient and speak life”  pg 29

This is very strange, why would God spend thousands of years collecting information from history to write into a Holy Spirit inspired book, deemed to be the ONE and ONLY Word of God also known as the Bible, written by the Apostles (who where martyred for their faith) .  In this Bible we have hundreds and thousands of verses that tells us that Jesus Christ LIVES.  In fact the Bible does not just tell us that Jesus Christ lives, but the Word itself IS Jesus Christ in published form.  The Bible tells us that He was there from the very beginning (Genesis), the prophecies of His coming throughout the OT, His virgin birth, His life, His ministry, His gospel, His crucifixion, His death, His burial, His resurrection, His ascension, His seat at the right hand of the Father in heaven, and His glorious return to conquer the Anti-Christ and set up His millennial kingdom (Revelation).

Aldo’s message says what?  Jesus lives?  We know that because the bible tells us so.  The problem is that Aldo’s message comes from non other than Satan leading people to ‘another Jesus‘ one that does not understand bible scripture, one that does not want your heart, but want’s your life, one that want’s you to sacrifice your life to him on top of that.

Retha McPherson says again, “I’m not the one writing this it, after all, God is.” pg 45

This book is apparently inspired like the Bible, what a blasphemous thing to think.

Aldo says on page 71, “You are the reason why He send me back, I didn’t want to come back, but He sent me back so that you can be reason for His return.

Apparently the Bible is not capable of preparing people for Jesus Christ’s return.  Aldo is acting like another little Christ, sent by God to tell people that Christ is alive.

On page 163 Aldo says, “God will blow His breath into this book as you read it, you will feel His Spirit loving you; showing you the way.”

Thank goodness I used my brain when I read this book and tested it to the Word of God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus shows us the way to the Father, not this book.  The bible is the inspired Word of God and the Final Authority on all matters, not this book.

The Prophetess approaches Retha McPherson and Aldo McPherson

Retha McPherson says, “The day before the operation, a woman came to see us at the hospital. Love radiated from her face. “I’m a prophetess,”  pg 29.

Retha could not resist the love that was radiating from her. Her name was Terthia *(not her real name).  Terthia tells Retha about a Nigerian pastor [* see further down] who apparently came back from the dead after being in the morgue for 4 days.  What a laugh I thought, there are no cases of people being raised from the dead.  Only Disciples and Apostles who were commissioned by Jesus personally could raise people from the dead and they themselves are all dead. Anyone who says they raised someone from the dead is lying and anyone who says they were raised from the dead is lying.  Anyone who says they are an Apostle is lying because there were not alive 2000 years ago and commissioned by Jesus Christ himself.  Anyone who wants to prove me otherwise can provide proof here:  —> Have You or a Loved One Been Raised From the Dead?

Retha prays with the prophetess and prophetess tells her that there are somethings she needs to confess, Terthia says,

God has shown her that I had done some fire walking”.  pg 30.

Woohaaaaa hold yer horsies right there folks.  Are we getting closer to find how Retha managed to activate her Kundilini the night of the accident?  The origin of firewalking spans over several cultures, but we will focus on the Hindus.  The ritual calls on the Hindu Goddess Draupadi and supposedly she cools the coals as you walk over them.  Now Westerners have taken the ‘demonic’ rituals out of firewalking and instead the promoters…

“give long motivational speeches and the people need to do tasks to prepare themselves for the firewalk, some of these tasks include meditation before hand.  The occult explanation is based upon the concepts of ‘heightened body energy‘ and an ‘enhanced state of consciousness‘.  The object of firewalking is for the person to attain power. Where is he/she getting their power from?  Certainly not from within themselves.  The power comes from outside and enters the person.  The person thinks they have been profoundly impacted by the firewalking experience to the point where they experience a small taste of the Kundilini ecstasy which they can not explain.” See article: —>Firewalking – Walking into a Whole Lotta Trouble.

If the Prophetess is not from God how could she know Retha did firewalking?  Well Satan knows each and every one of our lives, what we do, etc., In fact he was there assisting Retha in the firewalk.   Another reason to know this prophetess was not from God is this, the prophetess told Retha to confess, not repent.  It’s two completely different things.  Roman Catholics confess their sins to a priest – confessing is telling someone what you did wrong.  Repenting is asking for forgiveness.  So here we had Satan come along and trick Retha into thinking this prophetess was from God, but she was not, she was one of his workers, working under a FALSE Christianity.

This false prophetess tells Retha that “There is a battle raging in the supernatural realm for Aldo’s life, because God has placed a calling on his life” pg 31

That’s peculiar, why would Satan say something like this?  We know from earlier that Aldo was not saved before the accident. What happens next show us just how great a deceiver Satan is, how he has tricked Retha and her husband hook line and sinker into believing he is God running the show.

After the false prophetess left, Retha stayed at Aldo’s bedside until midnight when she too decided to go to sleep.  It’s was Aldo’s operation the next day.  Retha says,

“I woke up at two a.m. to the sound of a roaring lion running loose in the hallways of the hospital.  The sound of it’s roaring was terrifying and it’s fury filled my head.”  pg 31  The nursing sisters later told Retha “that Tethia had come back to pray for Aldo while I was sleeping.  The alarms and monitors were going off non-stop while she prayed from him.  At once I realized the Lion of Judah had battled against the roaring lion for my son’s life, and He won.” pg 31 [Emphasis added]

Really, what a load of nonsense.  I don’t doubt that it happened, but none of it was of God.

But this is where it gets totally out of control…

Retha decides she needs to starts praying for the first time in “spirits and in truth” pg 32

and immediately God answered her in an audible voice! Imagine that.

He says, “Take you shoes from your feet, because your’re standing on hold ground“. pg 32

1) The real God of the Bible does not speak to people in an audible voice, 2) where is the Holy Spirit in her life – He should be speaking to her in a soft gentle whisper 3) “holy ground”  seriously? It’s amazing how Satan drags Roman Catholicism into everything, he just can’t leave it out if he tried.  Retha tries to attribute this ‘holy ground’ scenario to the time when Moses removed his shoes in Exodus 3:5 – but that was the OT and the Old Covenant, we are now in the New Testament with a New Covenant.  Retha wa’ts to be under law which is a curse [Galatians 3:1-10], Jesus Christ came to fulfill the law.

Matthew 5:17   Jesus said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”

  1. I have seen some of Sid Roth’s “It’s Supernatural” programmes on YouTube. He interviews almost anyone who has a supernatural paradigm. He seems to think that if it’s supernatural it must be good. He’s even had Christians on who are fairly biblical. But because Sid is not sound on biblical doctrine himself, he seems to think that as long as it claims to be Christian or Jewish it’s got to be okay.

I saw him interview the Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn recently whose views on 9/11 are not sound doctrinally. Initially they seem to be. Then when you give them thought you see that Rabbi Cahn is straying from the point.

The sad thing is, humanly speaking, Sid is a nice guy. From a human viewpoint so are the people he interviews. They are often sincere, as I am convinced Sid Roth is. But you can be sincere and be wrong. Let’s not forget that Hitler and Stalin were sincere!

And human viewpoints are fallible. When they contradict Scripture they are wrong and therefore dangerous.

From what I’ve seen of “It’s Supernatural” I get the impression that Sid is a man who has been sick of decades of Western materialistic philosophy. He’s probably been a nominal Christian or Jew who has wanted to hit back against the materialism and secularism that he’s come up with a show trying to get over a spiritual points.
Unfortunately, all that glitters spiritually is not spiritual gold. It is generally the occult masquerading as spirituality.

As you’ve shown above, Debs, that’s what Retha McPherson’s views are. Actually Mrs McPherson herself has shown that too, albeit unwittingly. I think Sid Roth is in the same boat. I just wish that he had a more biblical paradigm and contended more for the faith once delivered [Jude 3]. Hopefully, some of the fairly sound Christians he interviews will contend a bit more with Sid which may cause him to get on the straight and narrow path. If he was doing that his show could work to God’s glory. But if it did, it would likely be taken off the air.

After all, people like the idea of God, so long as He keeps His distance and allows them to get on with doing things without too much interference!

Thanks again for another thought-provoking article, Debs.

  3. Let’s not be mistaken; Satan is a master counterfeiter. Having the entire Bible downloaded into you so that you practically no longer need to read it, is nothing less than a counterfeit incarnation. Have you noticed that the mom has taken over the limelight? Both the father and the son are in the background while mom calls the shots. What does that remind you of?

I feel very sorry for them because it is not God’s will that anyone should be sucked into the wiles of the devil. Nonetheless, when you play with fire such as the New Age, yoga, mystical practices like contemplative prayer, then you must be prepared to burn yourself. May God open their eyes to their deception.

I spent days and days working on these 2 article to help people like you, I gave correct explanation of verses that were twisted etc etc and I explain that what is going on in Retha’s life is not of God and you deliberately ignore the information provided? Why? Why do you take the words of this book OVER what is written in the BIBLE?

  8. blank Lana says:

I totally disagree with this article and its attack on Retha and Aldo. I really can’t believe your argument or lack of spiritual knowledge. You underestimate God’s power and do not seem to have any understanding about spiritual warfare. I pity you for judging others and misusing scripture to do so.
Just the fact that you said that the real God of the bible doesn’t speak in an audible voice, shows you don’t know what the bible says. Did He not speak audibly to Adam, Moses, Abraham, Jonah and Noah? Did he not talk to Paul audibly, “Why are you persecuting me?”
I could go on and on about your attack on Retha, and you twist her meanings and worst of all her heart.

  9. Lena

    >> Did He not speak audibly to Adam, Moses, Abraham, Jonah and Noah? Did he not talk to Paul audibly, “Why are you persecuting me?”

Adam, Moses, Abraham, Jonah, and Noah were in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit did not abide in people, this is why God spoke to people personally – That was the OLD COVENANT, when Jesus Christ came He established a NEW COVENANT, and Jesus then sent us the Holy Spirit that abides in born again Christians and now the Holy Spirit speaks to us.

When the Holy Spirit descended on all the disciples in the upper room Paul was not there. Paul was not in the upper room at Pentecost.

Acts 1:13 When they had entered Jerusalem, they went to the upstairs room where they were staying. Peter and John, and James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James were there.

    Acts 2:1-4
1 Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like a violent wind blowing came from heaven and filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And tongues spreading out like a fire appeared to them and came to rest on each one of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak in other languages as the Spirit enabled them.

At that time, Paul was an enemy of the church running around trying to persecute Christians. In fact he knew the other disciples of Jesus personally, like Peter, James and John. Jesus Christ chose Paul to be a disciple, but Paul needed serious intervention. This is why Jesus appeared to him personally on the road to Damascus and blinded him. Paul went on to be one of the greatest apostles ever and wrote most of the NT.

Retha is nothing but a false teacher.

  10. I just returned to this page for the first time since my last comment above, Debs. This time, after reading the page, I felt I had to immediately pray about this poor woman. I’m glad to see that both Thomas and yourself think likewise.
It is sad how people do not seem to grasp 1 Thessalonians 5:21 and 1 John 4:1 and realize that those Scriptures are commands and not suggestions.
My wife and I have recently spoken with a friend who is having visions. She is convinced by them that she now has a mission to correct a church on certain points in Revelation. Her mission does not in any way relate to the part of Revelation which she quoted. I told her I will believe in her mission if she shows me it anywhere in the Bible. She retorted that I did not believe in the gifts of the spirit, which is NOT true. She said it to convince herself that the visions were of God because that’s what she wants to believe.
Interestingly, her son recently told us that she roped his father into attending different churches and he merely tagged along. Obviously, she didn’t see how unbiblical that was. And now she’s involved with Malcolm Heap’s Midnight Ministries. (Heap is telling people that God is going to verify his ministry by gettin him to raise Princess Diana and fifty other people from the dead.) It’s interesting that her visions are not pointing her back to the Word of God!
There is so much New Age “philosophy” creeping into the churches through Alpha and the like that people cannot discern biblical truth anymore. We not only see this in Retha’s blatantly unbiblical claims and in both Carine’s and Lana’s comments but we see it in many flaky ministries feigning to be Christian.
If people would really take the above two Scriptures to heart they might bear in mind that we go to the Scriptures to conform to them and not have them conform to what we want to believe. As Peter 1:20 testifies, we do not have any authority to do that.
People think because they have “spiritual” experiences then they must be of God. This is especially so if the spirit involved identifies himself as God. If they don’t tie up with Scripture, Scripture itself testifies that these experiences are demonic. That means that any spirit involved, even when claiming to be Christ, is a demon. 2 Cor 11:14 makes that perfectly clear.
Nowhere in the Bible are miracles, visions or the like proof of God being involved. We saw that with the demonic replications of God’s miracles conjured through the Pharaoh’s magicians. (Though it is noticable that they couldn’t stop God’s miracles as He did theirs!) Scripture tells us many times it is God’s Word through which we measure truth, not miracles as they of themselves prove nothing. People saw many of Jesus’ miracles and yet they chose not to follow Him–and He was God incarnate!
Thanks for your comments to Lena, Debs. You made a couple of excellent points that I’d never thought of.
One thing Retha’s testimony does show is that we are certainly living in the last days. I hope she realizes what’s really going on before it’s too late. Time is quickly running out.

Wow…there are none so blind as those that will not see. Your judgments and condemnations are exact proof of your own ignorance of the essence of the God we serve. With all your religious education and background, you have misses God altogether. The very basic understanding that puts and end to this is that God is LOVE. In His love, these attacks cannot exist. It seems obvious that you have not had that personal experience with the Father and thus cannot relate to those who have. It is most amazing to me that you can use the Bible as a weapon while proclaiming your own unbelief. For it was Jesus that spoke out most harshly against the religious authorities of His day and for good cause. Since the birth of Christ, religions continue to claim to know God and make serious miscalculations about how HE works. While you can pick apart the Bible and make it say whatever you choose…you dare not deny the power of God. In so doing you stand in danger of hell fire, and should fear for your own judgment for misleading so many. I thank God for making Himself REAL in Aldo and Retha as He had done in me. 13. blank Chany says:

I have been following Retha and I was beginning to believe her and Aldo and I was thankful for all I was learning. I had been following her series on removing sins from our DNA and it seemed to make sense to me. I emailed her to thank her and ask questions.

I received an email back, from her staff, that was very alarming. I had asked several questions into her preaching and I was basically told I was wrong, as was my religion, and they were right. Yet, they were not judging. I knew then that something was wrong. If they truly heard from God then they would not have replied the way they did. I felt that their evidence was pages of twisted scripture and theory. It was hard for me to take and so I decided her staff was wrong but she and Aldo couldn’t possibly be of the same opinion as they had to be hearing from God. I wanted to believe. Retha seems so full of love and faith that I believed what I was hearing. I continued conversation only to get more of the same and so I went looking for answers and found you! I couldn’t have been more wrong about Retha and Aldo! I believe they all do believe they hear from God and are doing the right thing. I will pray for them all.

You have given me the answers that I needed and I thank you very much! I have been searching for answers and you opened my eyes. God bless you for taking the time to write this! Thank you.

You can read my email conversations with her staff:

    To Retha:

Thank you for all you are doing Retah. I just read your last book and I am watching your videos. I am learning so much and it is exactly what I needed, praise GOD! I have a few questions. I am a Catholic. My religion has always taught me that confession and the Eucharist was all we needed to stay in the state of Grace. I believe everything you are saying and thus am now confused as to what to believe… I have noticed that in all the books I have read that God keeps everyone with their own church or faith and doesn’t comment on what “religion” they should or shouldn’t be but teaches them how to be saved, ask for forgiveness, and follow his commandments. I can feel a common thread amongst those who have really heard from Jesus. He seems to apply the same principals to each person, based on their own religious backgrounds. My thought is that he is trying to save everyone and soon will join them all into a universal church, so right now it doesn’t make sense for him to convert them all to one religion, whatever that might be. That being said, it is very confusing to me when I read that you have communion often as I was taught only a priest could convert the bread into the body of Christ. Can you tell me what God says to you about that please? Also, I am fascinated with your latest videos on Baal worship and the spirit. Does every faith need to go to the courts or in my case does confessing the sins of my DNA in confession do the same? Has God spoken to you on that? I am going to do what you suggest but I am wondering if you have any insight for me, as a Catholic, on whether that is taken care of in confession. And lastly, can I go to the courts on behalf of my husband if he doesn’t believe all of this yet? Am I able to break the ties for him as well as myself, how about my children? I appreciate any feedback you can give me and thank you for all your hard work and dedication. God Bless!

    Their reply:

    Hi Chany,

Thank you for your sincere email and your blessing!

We are of the opinion that it is not really about religion but about Kingdom! To join this Kingdom of God every other kingdom must be renounced. The Word tells us in Revelations 11:15 The kingdom of the world has now come into possession and become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever.

And in 1Cor 15:24 After that comes the end, when He delivers over the kingdom to God the Father after rendering inoperative and abolishing every other rule and every authority and power 25 for Christ must be King and reign until He has put all (his) enemies under His feet.

God’s will is : 2 Peter 3:9 … not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. He unites us in His Kingdom and He is King over this Kingdom.

Chany, as a ministry we do not want to get into judging others of different beliefs, we are just stating our believe as you have asked.

Our opinion about transubstantiation (Eucharist) In Mt 26:29 after Jesus had said, “this is my blood” and prayed, he still referred to the contents as, “fruit of the vine”. If transubstantiation of the juice into blood had occurred, then Jesus would never have referred to it as “fruit of the vine’ but rather “blood”. This proves that when Jesus said “take eat & drink” he LITERALLY gave them bread and juice. In like manner, Paul also refers to the elements of the Lord’s Supper as “eat this bread and drink the cup” in 1 Cor 11:26 after they should be transubstantiated.

By sharing in the Eucharistic meal, the Church teaches that Catholics are fulfilling John 6:53: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.”

What does that really mean? Jesus goes on to say that “it is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life” (John 6:63-64). So, if “the flesh is of no avail,” why would we have to eat Jesus’ flesh in order to have eternal life? It does not make sense, until Jesus tells us that the words He speaks are “spirit.” Jesus is saying that this is not a literal teaching, but a spiritual one. The language ties in perfectly with the aforementioned statement of the apostle Paul: “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship” (Romans 12:1).

In Jewish thought, bread was equated with the Torah, and “eating of it” was reading and understanding the covenant of God (cf. Deuteronomy 8:3). For example, the apocryphal book of Sirach states, “‘He who eats of me will hunger still, he who drinks of me will thirst for more; he who obeys me will not be put to shame, he who serves me will never fail.’ All this is true of the book of Most High’s covenant, the law which Moses commanded us as an inheritance for the community of Jacob” (Sirach 24:20-22

). Quoting from Sirach here is not endorsing it as Scripture; it only serves to illustrate how the Jewish people thought of Mosaic Law. It is important to understand the equating of bread with the Torah to appreciate Jesus’ real point.

In John 6, Jesus is actually telling the crowd that He is superior to the Torah (cf. John 6:49-51) and the entire Mosaic system of Law. The passage from Sirach states that those who eat of the Law will “hunger still” and “thirst for more”; this language is mirrored by Jesus when He says, “He who comes to Me will never be hungry, he who believes in Me will never be thirsty” (John 6:35). Jesus is not commanding people to literally eat His flesh and drink His blood, He is telling them the core of all Christian doctrine: belief in Jesus Himself (“The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent,” John 6:29, emphasis added). Therefore, the Catholic interpretation of John 6 is unbiblical.

Second, there is a very clear analogy in John 6 to the days of Moses and the eating of manna. In the days of Moses, manna was God’s provision for food for the Israelites as they wandered in the wilderness. In John 6, however, Jesus claimed to be the true manna, the bread of heaven. With this statement Jesus claimed to be God’s full provision for salvation. Manna was God’s provision of deliverance from starvation. Jesus is God’s provision of deliverance from damnation. Just as the manna had to be consumed to preserve the lives of the Israelites, so Jesus has to be consumed (fully received by faith) for salvation to be received.

It is very clear that Jesus referred to Himself as the Bread of Life and encouraged His followers to eat of His flesh in John 6. But we do not need to conclude that Jesus was teaching transubstantiation. The Lord’s Supper / Christian communion had not been instituted yet. Jesus did not institute the Lord’s Supper until John chapter 13. Therefore, to read the Lord’s Supper into John 6 is unwarranted. As suggested above, it is best to understand this passage in light of coming to Jesus, in faith, for salvation. When we receive Him as Savior, placing our full trust in Him, we are “consuming His flesh” and “drinking His blood.” His body was broken (at His death) and His blood was shed to provide for our salvation. 1 Corinthians 11:26, “For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.”

Whether the Catholic definition of Holy Eucharist is a “re-sacrifice” of Christ or a “re-offering” of Christ’s sacrifice, the concept is unbiblical. Christ does not need to be re-sacrificed. Christ’s sacrifice does not need to be re-offered. Hebrews 7:27 declares, “Unlike the other high priests, He (Jesus) does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins ONCE for all when He offered Himself.” Similarly, 1 Peter 3:18 exclaims, “For Christ died for sins ONCE for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God…” Christ’s once-for-all death on the cross was sufficient to atone for all of our sins (1 John 2:2). Therefore, Christ’s sacrifice does not need to be re-offered. Instead, Christ’s sacrifice is to be received by faith (John 1:12; 3:16). Eating Christ’s flesh and drinking His blood are symbols of fully receiving His sacrifice on our behalf, by grace through faith.

We also believe the reason you go into the courtroom of the Lord (Daniel 7) is because Jesus Christ alone is the mediator between man and God. (1 Tim 2:5)

1 John 2:1 states …. But if anyone should sin, we have an Advocate with the Father in heaven, Jesus Christ the righteous one. 2 and He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours alone but also for the whole world.

Do to your covenant with your husband you sanctify him. So I do believe you can take petitions before the Lord on behalf of your husband and as your children’s gatekeeper you can do the same. If they have made covenants and contracts with the devil they need to renounce these by their free will (otherwise it will be witchcraft)

    Job 22:30

    I hope this answers you.

May the God of Peace soon crush satan underneath your feet!

    Blessings!

Be a good professing Christian will you and at least attempt to tell us word for word what is it that you OBJECT to? So that we can come back word for word and tell you with scripture why we think you are wrong.

    Let the debate begin!

wow my friend, i pray that the Lord Jesus will take the thorns out from your heart and lift the scales of your eyes…Are you glorifying yourself or God when you wrote this article?… this lady shared her testimony and how God was able to reach her because she was spiritually dead following a manmade religion….her words are in line with scripture and she is even humble enough to admit her mistakes..Please i urge you to seek God with all your heart and soul… His word (JESUS CHRIST) says “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? The Lord came to set us free and bring everything into order… this woman even emphasizes to submit to your husband so how can she be a false prophet…stop categorizing as a prophet and just simply see her as a child of God…please, please stop using fiery darts…you are spewing out poison instead of life….our hearts should be changing day to day into the image of Christ…. We need to judge with righteous judgement like Jesus judged the pharisees, do you know He loved them also thats why He preached a sharp word to them, revealing their hearts to them…two things will happen to people when this sharp word comes, they will either humble themselves and repent or gnash their teeth at you like an animal because the unclean spirits that manipulate them…this has to do with the heart the parables of the 4 different hearts….this sharp word must come and we at times must drink this cup that the Lord drank…please repent…forgive and the Father will forgive you! I bless you and pray that the holy spirit will guide you and convict your heart in the way you should go…we must stop eating fro this tree of knowledge of good and evil and start eating from this tree of life like God intended for us to do from the beginning.Amen i say to you and may The Lord Jesus Christ bless you with peace and understanding, revelation and wisdom that comes from the true Living God!

  19. cinthia,

    You are misinterpreting Matthew 7:1.

The mature Christian is supposed to judge between sound and false doctrine.

1 Corinthians 2:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
15 But the spiritual man tries all things [he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him].

If you refuse to judge you are immature and prone to deception.

    Ephesians 4:14 Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men [and women], [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead.

First you say we must not judge and then you say we must judge righteously.

  21. hadassa,

You don’t seem to realize that Christians are supposed to judge (discern) between the false and the true. If you don’t you are not spiritually mature.

1 Corinthians 2:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)

15 But the spiritual man tries all things [he [a]examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him].

If you do not judge (discern) righteously you are still a little kid.

    Ephesians 4:14 Amplified Bible (AMP)

14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of [a]unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead.

I suggest that you grow up.

Jesus most assuredly raised people from the dead. Notice JESUS raised people from the dead. Not false teachers lying that they have the power to raise people from the dead when it was only Jesus and the apostles who had the power to do so. Please see this article: Have You or a Loved One Been Raised From the Dead? I have been waiting for years for someone who was raised from the death to come forward with this miraculous story, but there are none. Imagine that! No one has come forward to brag about their miraculous miracle. If I were raised from the dead I would want the whole world to know about it.

I challenge you, find someone who has been raised from the dead and I mean REALLY raised from the dead, not a fake. Come on, do it. I guarantee you will not find one.

Stop being fooled by lies. You are on the road to hell because you follow Satan’s deceptions in the Word of Faith movement. Your words do not hold power, you can not create with your words. You are not a little god.

My goodness you can talk nonsense. The fact that you can’t discern GOOD from EVIL shows that you are the one in peril. Not me.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

The apostasy is in full swing. Its gotten to the stage that I am scared to even step out of my house in case I came across yet another wonky Christian. Debra I thank you for the article which will have many deceived Christians spitting nails. The time has come when we who seek Gods truth through his word stand alone in our battle for the truth. Its getting harder and harder to find Christians who have the same spirit of truth. I don’t believe this Jezebel woman and whats more I do feel for her son and husband. As for Sid. He can find his name under Mathew 7 verse 15. Thank you again for loving the truth.

Debra,i have such an aversion to people like that that I did not listen to the video. Forgive me I only read your comments. Smiles. Folk like this make me stumble so I stay away. I wish we could still stone people.

Hadassa, You do not understand that the reason we are in dialogue on this blog is that “we” all love the truth and that is why we fight so hard to dispel false teachings. It is because we love those who are being deceived that we try and shine the light into the darkness that false claims create. If the claims of Retha (and the son she is using to help fabricate the lies) were in any way credible and could withstand the mirror of the Bible, Deborah would not have spent so much time in exposing her deception. She has fabricated lies and it has been taken on board by many that are deceived. All she has to do now is keep on churning out books, talk at meetings for a price and bask in her popularity which she craves. She is just another false teacher/prophet that the Bible says will arise and deceive many.

I have posted on this site before the characteristics of false preachers/prophets and just a small bit of that reads: Peter says, “We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:16). And then he says the false teachers exploit you “with stories they have made up” (2 Peter 2:3). So the true teacher sources what he says from the Bible. The false teacher relies on his/her own creativity. He/she makes up his/her own message out of his/her imagination. The source of these imaginations are not God. There is no argument from the Bible that you can bring to this forum that can prove the opposite.

Another characteristic that false teachers have is that their false teaching usually entails advertising the merchandise (books,ebooks,DVD’s- sold wherever they go and online) that satisfies their greed. In this modern era the websites look amazing – inviting you in to pay money to be deceived! Do not be deceived!

  29. Thank you so much Robbie, yes I am finally back 🙂 Yay!
