Vatican Fulfill Biblical Prophecy as False Prophet?
Vatican Fulfills Prophecy – by Anton Bosch
Does Vatican Fulfill Biblical Prophecy as The False Prophet? The Bible paints quite a clear picture of the major events that precede the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth. Many of the smaller details may be difficult to interpret but the major events concerning the world’s religious, economic and political future are clearly spelled out in Revelation 13, 17 and 18:
A world religious figure will rise to prominence. He unites all the world’s religions into one universal religion. This religious leader looks like a man of God. He performs miracles and even looks similar to Jesus Christ (Revelation 13:11; 5:6). But, he receives his power from the Antichrist and, ultimately from Satan. He is known as the False Prophet (Revelation 19:20).
A second figure comes on the scene. Whereas the first world leader is religious and unites all people under a single world religion, the second man is political and unites all the world’s people under a single world government. We commonly know him as the Antichrist. The Antichrist does not only unite the world under one political system, but he establishes a single world monetary system which abolishes all private or individual business transactions that are not part of the global system (Revelation 13:17).
The relationship between the False Prophet and the Antichrist is an interesting one.
The Antichrist (political) empowers the False Prophet (religious). But ultimately the False Prophet causes the whole world to worship the Antichrist (Revelation 13:12). The False Prophet also encourages the people of the world to subscribe to the world financial and economic system and to receive the mark of the Beast (Antichrist) which gives them access to the financial system. Thus the global economy, global political authority and global religion become intertwined. This all happens in the name of unity which sounds good but is not. It is a bad unity because it is man-centered and is a unity against the Lord and His Christ.
How do we move from a world of many separate economies, religions and governments to a single system? This will not happen by military might, but individual governments willingly become part of the world government. This comes about because of two factors: First the nations are deceived into believing that the Antichrist has the answers to the world’s political and financial problems. Second, it is part of God’s plan: “For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.” (Revelation 17:17).
Practically, the world’s leaders will realize that their individual economies are so intertwined and the only way to solve the ever-increasing financial crises is to bring all the separate economies under one roof. Those who stay abreast of world affairs will recognize that there is an ever-increasing number of influential leaders who have begun to promote the idea of a global economy. The most significant of these is the G20 which in recent years has made several statements advocating such a global economy.
But the most startling statements were recently made by the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace in a 41 page “note”. It was published on October 24, 2011 in several languages. The Council speaks for the Pope and is filled with legal verbiage and complicated language, but is one of the most amazing documents I have ever read. It is amazing because it calls for a word-for-word fulfillment of the prophecies of Revelation 13, 17 and 18 and places Rome at the center of the drama![1]
The first half of the note deals with background and related philosophical issues. But the second half (points 3 and 4) calls for a single world government (point 3) and for a single world financial system (point 4)! Had I not read and studied the document, I would not have believed the statements made in it. I hope in the following few lines to summarize this document:[2]
They quote several recent Popes to show that support for a single world ruler is very much part of the core philosophy of Rome. For instance John XXIII “…also expressed the hope that one day “a true world political authority” would be created”. In the context of the document this means that John XXIII wanted to see a single world government. The document continues to state that today this teaching (of a single world government) is “even more vital and worthy of urgent implementation”
They continue to say of the current Pope that “Benedict XVI himself expressed the need to create a world political authority”. In the same paragraph they list all the reasons why a single world government is desirable. Things like peace and security, disarmament and arms control, the protection of human rights, the protection of the environment, the management of the (world’s) economy, the “universal common good”, the protection of weaker nations from the power of stronger nations etc.
John XXIII is further quoted as saying that in order for such a world government to be effective “it should be endowed with structures and adequate, effective mechanisms equal to its mission”. This simply means it has to be a real government with “teeth” and real authority over the world’s peoples rather than a United Nations type organization with little ability to enforce its will. They concede that the United Nations is the agency to bring this world government about, but at the same time, it needs to be a real government unlike the UN which is simply a committee.
They continue to say that such an Authority must have “global reach”, not by “force, coercion and violence but should be the outcome of free and shared agreement…”. Revelation 17:17 says that the world’s nations will willingly hand over all their authority to the Antichrist. Note their use of the word “Authority” with a capital letter. This is their term for what the Bible calls the Antichrist. They alternatively use the terms “Authority”, “world Authority”, “world public Authority” and “global Authority” – always with a capital “A”. Revelation 13 and 17 speaks seven times about the Antichrist having “authority”.
The document speaks about the need for all nations to be part of this system and that none should be excluded: “…the world Authority should consistently involve all peoples…”. Revelation 13:7 says “…And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation“. The note says that policies must be binding on all and that the Authority should have “universal jurisdiction”.
In the fourth section that deals with a global economy they say there is a need for “…the commitment to create some form of global monetary management” and “one can see an emerging requirement for a body that will carry out the functions of a kind of “central world bank” that regulates the flow and system of monetary exchanges…” They then speak of the need for such a world economy to be under the control of the world government. Revelation 13:16-17 says that the False Prophet “…causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” In this document, The Vatican has pledged its commitment to fulfill this prophecy to the letter!
Before continuing with the closing comments of this document, let me remind you that Revelation 17:5 refers to “Babylon the great, the mother of harlots”. In the past many have believed that this is an unequivocal reference to the church of Rome (the mother of harlots) and that the “daughter harlots” are the rest of the false religions. I used to hold that Babylon is not necessarily a reference to Rome alone but to all forms of false religion. However, this document is causing me to reconsider my view. Had I not verified that this document indeed was produced in the Vatican at the very highest levels, I would have discounted it as a fake. It seems simply too surreal that the note calls for the implementation of prophecy in such minute detail. I must assume that the Pontifical Council knows what Revelation teaches on this subject and yet, is willing to identify itself intimately with the False Prophet, the Great Harlot and Babylon the Great.
May I also remind you that the tower of Babel was man’s attempt at “global” unification centered on man, and against God, and that the Lord was so displeased that He made them speak different languages and so cause division and the scattering of mankind. God is all for unity, but it has to be a godly unity centered on the Lord Jesus Christ. God is against unity that has man as the focus, especially when that unity is used to oppose God as they did at Babel and as they will in the last days. Babel is the Hebrew name for Babylon – they are the same place, but more than a place, it is a philosophy and a spirit. The Babylon(s) of Revelation 17 and 18 are a revival of the Babel of Genesis 11 and represent the same anti-God and man-centered philosophy. Both are the pinnacle of all anti-God and Antichrist structures (puns intended).
The Vatican document concludes with the following lesson:
Quoting the tower of Babel and Genesis 11, they say that Babel warns us that diversity (as opposed to unity) is as a result of selfishness and leads to division. It further states that Babel is a warning of what happens when we don’t stick together and when nations choose to separate. The document very clearly calls for mankind to reverse the effects of Babel and to return to the process of building a unifying (and God-defying) structure. I do believe I sum this up correctly by saying they are literally calling for the rebuilding of Babylon (not the physical but the spiritual, political, religious and financial Babylon of Revelation 17 and 18)!
I will quote the final sentence of the document verbatim: “Only a spirit of concord that rises above divisions and conflicts will allow humanity to be authentically one family and to conceive of a new world with the creation of a world public Authority at the service of the common good.” (Emphasis mine).
Allow me to remind you that what this document calls for is not a pipe dream. It will come to pass, exactly as they are envisioning it and precisely as the Bible has predicted. Let me also remind you that Rome is not isolated from the rest of the world’s religions. In The Berean Call of November 2011, Dave Hunt provides detailed evidence that the most influential evangelical leaders in America all support and endorse Rome and its leaders.
All this tells me that the end is closer than we like to think and that everything is ready for the fulfillment of the final end-time prophecies. “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her (Babylon), my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4).
“And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! …”The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’ “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore” (Revelation 18:2, 9-11).

Baron Guttenberg could be a man to watch
This is what Rome has always wanted and always pushed for – just look at its history.
This is also what you get when you mix politics and religion together – a beast. 666, the satanic number of man trying to be God but falling short. That’s religion and politics.
I’ve always felt that the Roman Catholic Church with its popes has always fulfilled the Revelation prophecies, but that does require something of a change of thought where perhaps not one antichrist (one particular guy) tries to rule but one office (the pope office) tries to rule.
However, I also wonder if Revelations reads in a circular way – the antichrist and beast and false prophet will try, succeed for a little, and are then squashed. Then they try again and are squashed. All throughout history the beast rises but is squashed as Jesus always puts down rebellion, and it’s not until the Gospel is preached to the whole world that Jesus will come again (Matt 24:14).
Which means we have a job to do.
I believe you are essentially correct, Anton, but there is one thing most prophecy scholars seem to have forgotten; Satan knows what Christians are saying, and has been following it with interest for some 2000 years! Yes, he is bound to produce his Antichrist the way Scripture says, but he is not bound to produce him the way Christians expect him to.
Remember when Paul told the Thessalonians “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” I Thessalonians 5:3
The best answer as to why they are saying “peace and safety” is because they have just been through a period they thought was the Tribulation, and they have seen a man they thought was the Antichrist, being destroyed!
Satan’s best skill is in producing counterfeits. He has had six thousand years of practice. So, why would we think he wouldn’t produce a counterfeit Antichrist? Weren’t Antiochus, Nero, Stalin, Hitler, plus numerous others, but counterfeit Antichrists? Why would we think he wouldn’t do it again?
I think this is the reason there are so many possibilities for fulfillment of the End Times Prophecies, because Satan is busy working on counterfeits. Rome is one of his most clever ones to date.
Here’s one example of a counterfeit; There are numerous dams on the Euphrates river which, if closed together, can stop the flow of the river for up to 8 months at a time. Turkey has already used these dams to threaten her neighbors.
At first glance one might be tempted to think that this could be fulfillment of Rev. 16:12, where the river Euphrates is dried up so the kings of the east could cross it. If you read the context of the passage, however, it is apparent that the river will be dried up because of a drought, brought about by God’s vial judgments! It is not something human beings have control over, like a series of dams.
So, how could Satan use these dams to counterfeit Revelation 16:12? During another war, not Armageddon, these dams will be used to dry up the river so that another army can cross into Israel! I think that army will be the Gog and Magog army, of Russia, Iran, Turkey, and the nations of the former Soviet Union, which the world will interpret as being “the kings of the east”.
This war, the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy of Gog and Magog, will actually be a late Church-age war, as will be the preceding war of Psalm 83. These two wars form the framework of a counterfeit Tribulation period, complete with a counterfeit Antichrist.
I expect the counterfeit Antichrist to look like most of our prophecy scholars have painted the Antichrist; He will be handsome, gay, catholic, communist, and most likely from Rome, Italy. I expect this man to broker a deal between Israel and the Arabs, in the aftermath of the Psalm 83 war, which will allow Israel to rebuild the Temple, and peace with the Arabs will actually work.
A few years later, during the Gog and Magog war, I expect the pseudo-Antichrist’s hometown, Rome, will be destroyed, probably by a nuclear attack. Because of the long tradition of protestants, and even some Catholics, calling Rome the Harlot of Revelation 17-18, this destruction will be interpreted as fulfillment of that passage.
It’s logical isn’t it? Since many have already identified the Gog and Magog war as Armageddon, and if Rome is destroyed during the same conflict, if Rome is the Harlot of Rev. 17-18, then the next thing on the agenda is the return of Christ. Only He won’t return just yet, instead a new man will emerge to fill the void, and the world will believe he is the returned Christ. He will be the Antichrist, in case you haven’t already guessed, and all of the preceding will occur before the rapture, during the last few years of the Church-age.
The Catholic Church will be forced to relocate, when their main base for some 1700 years is destroyed, and I think they will relocate to Babylon, Iraq. I expect one of their partners will be the New Apostolic Reformation, from whence we get the “Seven Mountain Mandate”. The Actual Antichrist will come from an actual city of seven mountains (jabal=Arabic for mountain), which is much closer to Israel than Rome.
If the reestablishment of Israel was a Church-age event, then why can’t there be other fulfillments of prophecy during the Church-age? The truth is that there simply isn’t enough time for all the End Time prophecies to be fulfilled during the seven year Tribulation period. Think about it, how are they going to rebuild the Temple if they are constantly fighting battles, first with the Arabs, and then with Russia and the other Muslims, all within a 3 1/2 year time frame? These are not skirmishes, but major wars, and the second is also accompanied by a major earthquake. There needs to be some time, between these wars, for them to rebuild their homes, and the Temple.
When Jesus spoke of “Wars and rumors of wars”, as being a sign of the End Times, it is these wars that He was referring to, not just any war, or rumor of war. The world has seen almost 2000 years of continuous war. If He had meant that “just any war” would be a sign of His return, that would actually be a non-sign.
You may think this sounds crazy, yet I have done a lot of research that leads in this direction. I have put that research into a book entitled “The Spirit of Prophecy” and you can read more about it at my website: “the spirit of prophecy. ca” (just add 3 “w”s and remove the spaces and quotation marks.
Yes totally crazy – a bunch a lies. None of this is in the bible Daniel – only in your head – imagination.
Deborah,
It is a fact that Israel was restored during the Church-age.
It is a fact that Jesus said that “wars and rumours of wars” would be a sign of the End-times. Do you actually think that he meant wars around the world? God always refers back to Scripture. He doesn’t leave it for us to guess. The problem is that if you read scripture with the wrong presuppositions you will never get it!
Here are some other facts:
Fact: Amman, Jordan, was originally known as “the city of seven jabals” or seven mountains.
Fact: The city of Amman, Jordan, was known as Philadelphia during the time of Christ. I am certain that this is a fact the Antichrist will exploit!
Fact: In the Old Testament Amman, Jordan, was known as “Rabbah of the Ammonites”. Jeremiah 49:1-3, and Amos 1:13-15 both declare that this city will be destroyed by fire. These prophecies have not been fulfilled to date. Today Amman is one of the oldest continuously-occupied cities in the world.
Fact: When the Roman armies were marching toward Jerusalem in the first century, an army of Idumeans (Edomites) attacked the city and killed 20,500 people, including the High priest Annanus, and his deputy Jesus. These men were prepared to negotiate a surrender with Rome, but because they were killed by the Idumeans, the Zealots were left in control. These people hated Rome so much that they were willing to sacrifice the entire population in defiance of her armies. And that is exactly what happened. You can read about it in Josephus’ “The Jewish War”. Josephus specifically states that he lays the blame for the destruction of Jerusalem at the feet of the Idumeans. Yes, this is a fact.
Fact: There were Arabs, from Damascus, in the Roman armies that destroyed Jerusalem. It was these Arabs who began the destruction of the temple, contrary to Titus’ orders, but the die was already cast because of the earlier Idumean attack.
Fact: Edom’s judgment is spoken of in the same kind of language as Babylon’s judgment. See Isaiah 34 and compare it with Babylon’s judgment in Isaiah 13. Note that verse 5 says that the people of Edom are “the people of my curse”.
Question: If the Antichrist comes from Rome, why are the Edomites called, by God, “the people of my curse”? The Antichrist and the false prophet are the only two lost people in the history of the world who do not spend time in Hell (Sheol, or Hades), but are taken directly from the earth to the Lake of Fire! (Rev. 19:20, Isaiah 14:19-20)
Fact: There are numerous prophecies against Edom in the Old Testament, and they are overwhelmingly timed to coincide with the Tribulation period. The judgment of Edom begins when the judgment of Israel ends
Fact: Edom is the only nation that the bible prophecies total destruction. This seems strange if the Antichrist were to come from Rome:
Obadiah 1:18
“And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.”
Many prophecy scholars believe that Daniel 11:41 indicates that Jordan (Edom, Moab and Ammon) will be victorious against the Antichrist.
“He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.”
There is a better interpretation of this verse, given the multitude of negative prophecies against this nation. The Antichrist will rule the whole world. Why would he ignore such a small country so close to his quarry, Israel?
How is it possible that a man who can take over the USA with 300 million people, or China and India, with over 1 billion people each, can’t defeat a mini nation of some 5 million? The best answer is that he is one of them, and they know it! Jordan will be his power base and he has no need to defeat them, they are the ones who put him on the throne in the first place!
Malachi 1 says; 3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. 4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
Do you think that God has indignation against this nation forever, just because they killed a few Jews 2,400 years ago? Germany has killed more Jews than Edom, to date. No. God is indignant against this nation because they will produce the Antichrist. I think He knew that even before Esau was born.
This is a brief synopsis of chapter 7 of “The Spirit of Prophecy”. I’m not going to rewrite the whole thing here, but there is much more evidence against the Edomites and the modern nation of Jordan. There are actually verses in the bible that, when taken out of context, could be made to say that the Messiah will come from Edom! He should have come from Edom, but Esau sold his birthright! Nevertheless, there are Arabs today who still think that Esau, or Ishmael, being the first son, should still have the birthright.
I’ll leave you with one verse to mull over, and remember this is OUT OF CONTEXT. Just remember that the Antichrist will be a master of taking verses out of context:
Isaiah 63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
An Antichrist from Edom could point to this verse and say: “I inspired Isaiah to write this”! This verse is not alone, but I have not found any verse that one could do the same with for a Roman Antichrist! (see also Judges 5:4, Deut.33:2)
So, what of Rome? I have already told you, and yes it is a guess, but it’s a guess based on the facts. Really it is more than a hypothesis, it is a theory, because there is biblical evidence for it. Much evidence!
Deborah, I would suggest that you examine the evidence rather than call people names. This sounds crazy, but only to people who haven’t done their homework! I have given you facts, and I have given you Scripture. Now it is up to you to do some study.
God bless, as you study His Word,
Daniel Knezacek
Daniel
I have never said that the AntiChrist comes from Rome. All I have stated is that The False Prophet comes from Rome.
I forgot to give you documentation for my statement “Fact: There are numerous prophecies against Edom in the Old Testament, and they are overwhelmingly timed to coincide with the Tribulation period. The judgment of Edom begins when the judgment of Israel ends”
Here it is:
21 Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked. 22 The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins. (Lamentations 4:21-22)
The best answer to the question of why Edom’s judgment begins at the time that Israel’s ends, is because they are the people who put the Antichrist on the throne, and support him to the bitter end! It is the mindset of Edom that makes him the Antichrist. They pass on the ancient hatred to him, their son.
Rome is certainly A false prophet. There is no question about that, but is Rome, or the pope, THE false prophet?
Given that the false prophet is called “The beast from the Land” I think he will be from Israel. There are numerous places in Scripture where the term “the Land” refers to Israel. Secondly, since the Antichrist wants to get Israel on board, what better way to gain credibility than to have a Jew as his closest associate? A Jew who can point to the Scriptures and say “Here is your messiah”.
I think Rome is an amazing decoy. I also think Rome is expendable to Satan. Just as Scripture says nothing about the destruction of Hiroshima or Nagasaki, it doesn’t have to say anything if Rome suffers the same fate, if Rome isn’t actually Babylon, that is. Don’t forget that the majority of Catholics don’t live in Rome. If Rome were destroyed it would not destroy that Church, they would just have to relocate their headquarters, and choose a new pope.
If the pope were THE false prophet then why isn’t he destroyed when Babylon is destroyed in Revelation 17? He will actually live until he is “raptured” straight to the lake of fire.
Remember how Scripture says that the Antichrist will destroy three of the world rulers who support him? (Daniel 7:4) Don’t you think it’s possible that he will point to one, or perhaps all three, and say “that man was the Antichrist. That’s why I destroyed him.” Since all ten are of the same mind, isn’t it possible that they will all look remarkably like the Antichrist?
What better way to avoid suspicion than to point to someone else? This is especially true if the person you’re pointing to actually does look like the Antichrist!
Jesus said the End Times would be characterized by deception. We should not expect things to be so totally straight forward, that we can sit back and take it easy. The deception will be so clever that there is a danger that the elect could be deceived. (Matt 24:24, Mark 13:22)
So, when they say “peace and safety” it is because they believe the Antichrist is no longer a problem. (1 Thes 5:3)
Daniel
Do you believe in pre-trib rapture?
Dan is the dude who thinks there is nothing wrong with Christians tipping back a few. Nevermind the many biblical admonitions and warnings about alcohol or intoxicating beverages. If Daniel believes the Lord tipped back a few, he is sadly mistaken.
In fact, if one truly thinks about it, fermentation is a product of the Fall. It is spoilage. The wine the Lord made at the wedding was a miracle, not a product of spoilage. In fact, grape juice was often boiled down and preserved and later reconstituded. Alcohol is a killer and a destroyer and has no part in the life of a devoted Christian.
Daniel may have his eschatology correct regarding the Rapture, but he is the purveyor of lies and destruction. Maybe he can hold his liquor, but maybe the next person can’t and goes out and kills someone on the road or goes home and beats his wife and children. Daniel, can you live with thinking you might have had a part in making your brother stumble?
Daniel,
I think you should rather focus on His coming and not read into Scriptures which is not there… Whether the antichrist deceives many or not, and whether born again believers might see him or not before being raptured makes no difference? Why?
Because he is not Christ, and he does not come the way Christ is coming, and all the rest… So do not be so concerned about the antichrist, rather be prepared for The Christ!
Like Daniel said, only the wise will understand… God will give us wisdom in those days, if the antichrist deceives many and even the elect, it is because God said he will…nothing we can do about that, but we are pre-warned in scripture not to be deceived, so if some figure start to call down thunder and heal millions, do not run to this geezer, as he is not the Christ…simple
Also, like the types and shadows in scripture, the antichrist will have similar characteristics, Judas, which came from within the brethren, and Paul, who was all things to all people, we cannot say for sure where he will come from, remember, ALL will have to accept him, do you think arabs will accept a Jewish leader?
Similar, a new world order will come, a chip or tracking device will be implemented, a new world religion will come, etc. There is noting we can do, asGod said it will come to pass… so why worry.
I aint worried cos I aint gonna be here 🙂 My focus is completely on Jesus Christ and I watch for Him to come and take me home daily.
Amen Sister…watch and pray!
Hello everybody!!
Id like to stress that the mayan calender does not suggest the end of the world on the 21st dec 2012. more disinfo to add to the pile of crap thats out there, but its the peoples own fault for believing all they hear and seE nowadays, as there two lazy to go to a libary and research some truth, – as well as pray and read the bible. the present mayan age ends on 21st of dec and starts a new age, and im a bit disappointed that above proffesor did not mention that, plus im commenting on the wrong page lol, but sure there are none of us perfect apart from 144,000 and im surely not one of them lovely souls, Hows ever, to the point i want to make that may be of interet to some one reading above article, i was at a bus stop in germany in novemeber 2011 . and to my amazment after standing back from the map of germany which was in white and in the shape of a horse with a rider atop, plus the present pope is german, that little voice told me to stand back and see. at the bus stop, just like to enquire of any one here ,? has anyone noticed that on the map of germany or am i going mad.!!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”
What’s everyone doing in preparation for the reapers I wonder. It seems they will start “first” with the tares…
Daniel’s idea is quite interesting. However, Jordan–unless I’m missing something–is a Moslem nation.
Moslems are not nor ever were mystery Babylon. That’s because Islam, whatever it is, is not Babylonian religiously. In fact it is the antithesis of Babylonianism. It is also utterly iconoclastic.
Rome is identified clearly here. The woman was arrayed in Scarlet and purple. Those were the colours of ancient Rome and they have been the colours of the Catholic church before there even was a Vatican. So the colours point to Rome.
Rome is the antithesis of iconoclasm. Even the statues of “Jesus” are based on Tammuz. Mother and Child statues are of Semiramus and the reborn Nimrod (going back to Isis and Horus). In fact, ancient Rome was sheer Babyloniansim which had its first stop at Pergamos. Their religion was Babylonian through and through.
Ancient Rome was adopted thoroughly by the papacy. Their whole system is Babylonian, right down to the confessionals, nuns and priesthood. It is nothing like Islam.
The seven mountains on which the woman sits are also seven kings, five of which have fallen. This does not tie up with Middle Eastern history but it does of Rome.
While Daniel’s idea is very interesting, it doesn’t seem to me to tie up with fact.
I’m afraid Daniel has it a bit wrong.
I agree with Deborah and Werner- ain’t going to be here! Repeat: True Christians ain’t going to be here! The anichrist and the false prophet are God’s WRATH on an unbelieving, Christ-rejecting world! Just as the flood of Noah’s day and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah were God’s WRATH on the unbelieving evildoers in those times, so Jesus Christ told us it will be just like the days of Noah and the days of Lot. Has anyone noticed what is going on right now??? Those days are already upon us, and I think God’s patience is just about up. It’s time to REPENT, and watch and pray and WARN anyone who might listen.
AMEN & AMEN!!
im a christian but cant understand the endtime stuff too good so how do we advoid the mark of the beast and how will we know what it will be or when these things will take place
Carol, have you not read the comments and other info on this website regarding the end times?
First of all are you a true born-again believer? That is important to establish.
Then if you are, you do not need to worry about taking the mark of the beast because you will not be here – the Church will be taken in the Rapture before all that happens. True born-again believers don’t have to be concerned about the identity of the Anti-Christ or what his mark will be. Our concern should be living for Christ in the present and reaching others before it is too late.
I’m not as knowledgeable as most of you propose to be concerning Biblical scrutiny but I have a question to pose concerning the Antichrist specifically. Why does it appear to be so taboo amongst the church to entertain that the Antichrist is an alien or at least disguises himself as one? Who else would be able to pursuade mankind that he is more than a mere human leader. Especially that he is successful in seducing Israel into believing he is in fact the messiah? Couple of subtle hints that I believe support my belief. First, John feels the need to point to the number 666 being the ‘number of man’ and how it relates to the Antichrist. Could he be alluding to a characteristic of mankind’s genetic make-up that has yet to be discovered? Is he telling us that the Antichrist is in fact human to some degree and if so, why? I would assume anyone would naturally think he is a human being. He will in fact probably convince mankind that he and his associates, “many will come in my name”, are in fact our progenitors. Keep in mind that the four horsemen are the four stages of the Antichrist. He is the man on the White horse. White horse means to conquer and not a peacemaker. Remember Ceasar, Charlemagne, Napolean and Patton? They were not riding on white horses because they were peacemakers. Then he holds a bow but has no arrows. This means he has an arsenal of weapons but doesn’t need to fire a single one but yet he is made king by being thrown a crown. Why because mankind realizes they wouldn’t stand a chance? By the way, ironically the White horse in the Hindu religion is a reference to the cosmos. Or outerspace. Listen, we’re going to get rocked soon and good. Jesus the Lord God Himself stated that be? The only lie I can see being so transforming of mankind’s belief would be an advanced group of beings coming down from outer space and saying they are our creators and that Jesus was possibly one of them. Maybe he comes back and says he IS Jesus and this iIS the 2nd Coming. I don’t know but I do feel very strongly something big like this will be the case. Hold onto your hats because we’re definitely going on a ride and pretty soon.
Might I suggest a good book concerning this? Petrus Romanus or Peter the Roman…that will be the last Pope. What is interesting about the new pope…Francis he is the first Jesuit to ever become pope. The Jesuits have long been hated by the other order of priests in Roman Catholicism. Read the Jesuit Oath….it will give you goosebumps. The Jesuits have their own pope, the black pope. He is called that not because he is black but he is also the boss of the regular pope. No pope does anything without the permission of the black pope. The Jesuits have caused more bloodshed and heartache down through history around the world. It is even said that they sunk the Titanic, orchestrated the murder of President Abraham Lincoln because he didn’t want the Jesuits in America. John Wilkes Booth was a Catholic and the Jesuits used him. Another web site you should check out is http://www.vaticanassassins.org the sight is undergoing some new things but you can read the archived articles…it will open your eyes.
Oh Billy…my my my…the Antichrist will not be an alien. Get into the Book of Daniel
Dan 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
Dan 11:22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.
Dan 11:23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.
Dan 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
Dan 11:25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.
Dan 11:26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
Dan 11:27 And both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
Dan 11:28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
Dan 11:29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
Dan 11:30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.
Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
Dan 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Dan 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
Dan 11:34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
Dan 11:35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
Dan 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
Dan 11:39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
Dan 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
Dan 11:41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
Dan 11:42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
Dan 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
Dan 11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
Dan 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
then go reread the Book of the Revelation over and over but first stop and pray and ask the Holy Spirit to show you. Jesus said of the Holy Spirit……He shall guide you into all things and will teach you of me. Peace to you Billy…..don’t put any stock into Aliens and such….. God gave earth to us so stay down here until God calls you home.
Sharon,
I have also read some articles on the Black pope, awhile back now. I was interested also to see that the new Pope is a Jesuit, as I know about their oath. There is a whole world of secrecy out there that most of us will never know about. I don’t want to delve too deeply, it can be scary and depressing! Whatever satan has ‘cooked up’ and still plans to do, I know that I must just keep my trust in Jesus, and not worry about the devil’s evil designs, as we know that God will win the battle.
Absolutely….God is faithful. The Jesuits do not have the last word. No one does except our beautiful and mighty savior none other that the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ya’ll gotta lose this unbiblical idea of an “antichrist”. Daniel spoke of Beasts–world empires–and Revelations does the same. Both beasts in Revelation 13 are world empires, not individuals. Stop abusing the word of God with this mistake.
And the “time of the end” that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24 was time of the end of the NATION–he was answering the question asked by the disciples—when will these things happen?(the fall of the temple and Jerusalem) and what will be sign of your coming(he was already there!) and of the end of the age(our age? NO! their age that they were living in AS HE SPOKE!).
This prophecy of Christ was given 40 years before the fall of the nation and it is more than likely that this very prophecy was spread throughout the Roman world by the Christians so that when it was so perfectly fulfilled–in EVEY DETAIL–the world could not hide from the fact that Christs deity had been verified by the very events he said would happen.
Now, however, everyone seems to be rewriting prophecy and forgetting all of this, wanting instead to spreads fear of a non-existent antichrist, an imaginary 7-year tribulation, and wait for a temple that will never be built.
Wake up, Christians!

Look, you have this unbiblical idea of amillennialism and that there is no such thing as an antichrist. You read scripture incorrectly and then come make your problems ours.
You don’t understand that prophecy in the bible REPEATS itself over and over and over, you seem to think it ended in 70 AD. Well sorry for you it did not.

Paul refers to Antichrist as an individual who is presently being restrained by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus also referred to him as an individual person.
I notice Jacob Prasch is mentioned on the heading page for the above. I do not understand the connection. Could you please explain, on my E.Mail – not publicly, please.
