Kobus van Rensburg – Lied about his healing – Multiple times!
It has come to my attention that Kobus van Rensburg has once again duped his followers into believing that has been healed, however this is far from the truth.
This is the story of Kobus van Rensburgs so called ‘miraculous’ healing.
Kobus was diagnosed with cancer AGAIN after he went into remission. The second time, Prophet Ed Traut prophesied over him and told him that the 2nd time won’t be as long and as bad as the first, wherein he died several times. Kobus van Rensburg and his wife Annalise flew over to Germany for nearly 2 months where he received treatment at an institute referred to by Johnson Olowokere. Kobus van Rensburg led his followers on to believe that he received NO treatment at all. After he came back his body was clean of cancer, but during their time in Germany he was diagnosed with several diseases; like heavy metal poisoning and another, an allergic reaction to the cold. In the last week of October 2011 he was AGAIN diagnosed with cancer – a 3rd time, this time in his brain and according to the doctors his first two times with cancer was a walk in a park and the chemo and treatments for brain cancer will be the worst he’s ever experienced….
Nothing of this is shared on the TV channel or on the internet. It is kept secret, hush hush. Annalise and her sons are running Spirit Word Ministries from the back end trying to not let anyone know that the ‘gospel‘ they preach is false.
I feel terribly sorry for Kobus van Rensburg and I pray that he gets well, MORE IMPORTANTLY I pray that he realises he is following false teaching and preaching false teaching and that going to witch-doctors like T B Joshua to receive POWER is the CAUSE of his illness. I pray that Kobus van Rensburg comes before the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible and repents of his ways and STOPS the lies and deception once and for all that he may be healed spiritually and physically!
I pray his followers open their eyes to the truth of the matter, open their bibles and seek Jesus Christ (The Way, The Truth, and The Life – bJohn 14:6) and not a man who claims he is immortal while on this earth.

Hi Deborah! I know a pastor who was recently asked by Kobus himself to pray for healing from the cancer he has! Heartbreaking these lies are’nt they? The sad thing is those who follow Kobus do so because they like being duped; they love it when they’re being lied to; the Bible wrote about them…

Firstly, what insult? If Kobus has cancer but lies and tells everyone he is healed, that is his problem and definitely not an insult. See this website: Kobus Van Rensburg, the man of God is 100% healed !!!

I started to watch this clip, but it made me feel sick. Everything said about him and Ed Traut I agree with. I came out of a “church” where Mr Traut used to come and he prophesied to “only certain people”. I could never understand why only to the same people over and over again….ha….I want to be really cruel and say…get these people off the circuit!!!!! I feel ashamed to think that Kobus v Rensburg runs a church and deceiving his poor congregation. But as I said above, I came out of the same type of church….do you know what they really preach to get? Money and lots of money. I dont care if people want to crucify me for saying all this…but I have first hand experience about these false prophets. Keep on exposing them Deborah…just a pity not many people can get to know this! Bless you!
Apart from all the other heretic acts and teachings of Kobus,how does he know that he is a prophet? How do you, Paul, know that he is a prophet from God? Is it because he said so?
Paul admonishes believers not to go beyond the things which are written in I Cor 4:6. We are to live faithfully according to the Scriptures.
Truth and error are determined by the Word of God. I Thess 2:13 states that revelation is by means of words.It is the Scripture that contain Thus says the Lord.
So where does one get that he or she is a prophet? how do you get that? Please explain that to me?

Similar to the dominionists and kingdom now preachers, he is or has already build an entire village in KZN, with church, up-market houses and all on a single piece of ground.
Like you said, no such thing as a prophet these days, one might still hold the office a prophet, i.e. warn Gods people, but only by what has already been written.
He also makes sure you understand he has a Doctorate in Theology or some biblical subject; apparently it was awarded to him because of his superior knowledge of Greek and Hebrew.
First problem, he has now pervious formal education, so from where the superior knowledge? Second, if he did understand Greek he will notice that ‘tongue/s’ in the Greek refers to a human language throughout the bible, so from where the babble and gibberish we hear in his sermons (a so called heavenly language) thirdly, the institute who issued the honorary degree, is not to be found on the web, and the one’s I did find bearing a similar name are all fake and unaccredited. So much for integrity, but I guess he has some business skills, as credentials surely do help to sell your product or service.

Also before you point a finger at Deborah, take the bible if you have one and read it… Rules for judging John 7:24.
True believers are expected to judge people, places, and things…I Cor 2:15, mature christians who is led and taught by the Spirit, appraises all things, i.e. they can and should scrutinize, sift, and thereby understand all things; but unbelievers and even worldly-minded believers cannot appriase (understand) them.
Please consult a dictionary in order to understand the difference between gossip and judge! Then consult your bible on the matter of judging rightly…
We are to judge scripturally, God’s Word is the only absolute and trustworthy standard, Isaih 8:15. So if your prophet or your guru is not inline with the Word, we will speak out.
No ‘persons’ on this blog is respected in judgement Prov 24:23, again we see we are expected to judge.
We are to pray for judgement ability, I Kings 3:5-12, why? so that we might serve for the good of God’s people.
The facts are given with every judgement, so why do you complain about this? None are with excuse, therefore, the false prophets, false teachers and the unrighteous must be exposed and punished for they are like well-fed lusty horses, Jer 5:1, 8.
The preventive is to judge ourselves rightly, that which none of the false prophets do nor teach.. I Cor 11:30-31.
We are merely stating the facts, is that wrong? Please indicate by means of Scripture that what we are doing is wrong, and what your guru’s are doing is right, and I will apologise to the world and you…

Apparently you did not read the part in the bible where it shows the seriousness of the issue of false teachers and those who would corrupt the truth of God and delude the people of God.
Matthew 23:13. “But woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shake off the kingdom of heaven from people; for you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.”
and Matthew 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Paul writes to Titus to tell him he has to deal with the false teachers present in the church at Crete. Look at verse
Titus1:10, “For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers, and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision…”
In New Testament time the particular problem that the apostles faced was those who came out of the Jewish background, who professed to believe in Jesus Christ, but created an unbiblical mix of the Mosaic Law and the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. It corrupted the gospel and confused people. Paul then tells Titus in verse 11
Titus:10:11, “..who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families”.
Verse 16 says Titus 10:16 “They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.”
You do love evil Jennifer, do you? No! You love what is GOOD! Kobus van Rensburg is evil, he preaches evil doctrines, he fleeses his congregation from their hard earned money to build himself an empire, and he heals people with an occult power.
My Jesus, my saviour. My prayer for you – May you experience the power of the Holy Spirit in your life. Then the atmosphere will change around you. It’s not about Kobus, it’s about a personal relationship between you and Jesus. Try it! it is awesome. Leave Kobus alone, same with the other so called false preachers in your eyes. Look to the cross of Jesus Christ. He done it for you 2 and so for Kobus and all the other. I have an excitement in my heart that you will meet Jesus in 2012.

Prophet kobus van rensburg is a true prophet of God.He will not die but live to proclaim the good news of christ,this is just a thorn in his flesh.Those that trust in the lord shall never be put to shame.
Jennifer and Ginny: I really feel sorry for the people who get duped by these so-called prophets of God. There’s usually a messy trail of hurt and disillusioned people – the walking wounded, who end up refusing to ever go back to church again after escaping from the clutches of these false prophets. I am speaking from my own experience with one of these two ‘prophets’ mentioned above and I am not the only one – there are MANY who have turned away from church because of the lack of love, the condemnation, the threats (even lawyers letters), the extreme control, etc of this leader! Is this how Jesus taught us to love the world? No…..I don’t think so. The word ‘cult’ comes to mind. I am reminded of the scripture, referring to shepherds and their sheep in Ezek34:
Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves! Should not the shepherds take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock. You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally. So they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals.
Then it goes on in verse 10 to say this: This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock. I will remove them from tending the flock so that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them…..
Gal 6:7: Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
I witnessed the deception. I believe that the Holy Spirit gave me discernment on many occasions as to what was really going on – and all these things were later confirmed to me as correct, by leaders who had left his church, and had first-hand knowledge that these things had indeed happened or taken place. This was the confirmation I had prayed for that I was indeed hearing correctly from the Holy Spirit.
We are living in a day and age where we need sharp discernment that comes through a close relationship with the Holy Spirit. It’s available to us all. The five-fold ministry is available to us all. We are all meant to be prophets and priests, not just a select few.
