UN Appoints Space Ambassador to Greet Aliens

AliensUN ‘to appoint space ambassador to greet aliens when they visit earth.

A space ambassador could be appointed by the United Nations to act as the first point of contact for aliens trying to communicate with Earth.

Mazlan Othman, a Malaysian astrophysicist, is set to be tasked with co-ordinating humanity’s response if and when extraterrestrials make contact. She will set out the details of her proposed new role at a Royal Society conference in Buckinghamshire next week. The 58-year-old is expected to tell delegates that the proposal has been prompted by the recent discovery of hundreds of planets orbiting other starts, which is thought to make the discovery of extraterrestrial life more probable than ever before. Mrs Othman is currently head of the UN’s little known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa). In a recent talk to fellow scientists, she said: “The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that some day human kind will received signals from extraterrestrials. “When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.” Professor Richard Crowther, an expert in space law at the UK space agency who leads delegations to the UN, said: “Othman is absolutely the nearest thing we have to a ‘take me to your leader’ person”.

The plan to make Unoosa the co-ordinating body for dealing with alien encounters will be debated by UN scientific advisory committees and should eventually reach the body’s general assembly. Opinion is divided about how future extraterrestrial visitors should be greeted. Under the Outer Space Treaty on 1967, which Unoosa oversees, UN members agreed to protect Earth against contamination by alien species by “sterilising” them. Mrs Othman is understood to support a more tolerant approach.

But Professor Stephen Hawking has warned that alien interlopers should be treated with caution. He said: “I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet. The outcome for us would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the Native Americans.”

  2. Aliens Are Monitoring Our Nukes, Worry Ex-Air Force Officers
    Published September 23, 2010 | FoxNews.com

Captain Robert Salas was on duty in Montana in 1967 when a UFO shut down the nuclear missiles on his base. And he’s hardly the only one to make such a claim.

On Monday, six former U.S. Air Force officers and one former enlisted man will break their silence about similar events at the National Press Club, all centering around unidentified flying objects and nuclear missiles. They plan to urge the government to publicly confirm the incidents, stating that they were ordered never to discuss the events.

“We’re talking about unidentified flying objects, as simple as that,” Salas told FoxNews.com. “They’re often known as UFOs, you could call them that,” he added. Salas, a former U.S. Air Force nuclear missile launch officer, will host the event along with researcher Robert Hastings, author of “UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites.

According to the pair, witness testimony from more than 120 former or retired military personnel points to an ongoing and alarming intervention by unidentified aerial objects at nuclear weapons sites, as recently as 2003. In some cases, several nuclear missiles simultaneously and inexplicably malfunctioned while a disc-shaped object silently hovered nearby.

“I was on duty when an object came over and hovered directly over the site,” Salas said, regarding the March 16, 1967, event at Malmstrom AFB in Montana. “The missiles shut down, 10 Minuteman missiles. And the same thing happened at another site a week later,” he said.

Are they evidence of unknown military action from a foreign country, or are these extraterrestrial visitors? Salas thinks the answer is clear — and finds it curious that they’re so interested in our nuclear arsenal.

“There’s a strong interest [in our missiles] by these objects, wherever they come from. I personally think they’re not from planet Earth.”

Another participant, retired Col. Charles Halt, observed a disc-shaped object directing beams of light down into the RAF Bentwaters airbase in England and heard on the radio that they landed in the nuclear weapons storage area. Both men claim the Air Force warned them never to disclose details of the events.

“The U.S. Air Force is lying about the national security implications of unidentified aerial objects at nuclear bases and we can prove it,” Salas said. Col. Halt adds, “I believe that the security services of both the United States and the United Kingdom have attempted — both then and now — to subvert the significance of what occurred at RAF Bentwaters by the use of well-practiced methods of disinformation.”

The group plans to distribute declassified U.S. government documents at the event that they claim will substantiate the reality of UFO activity at nuclear weapons sites extending back to 1948. The press conference will also address present-day concerns about the abuse of government secrecy as well as the ongoing threat of nuclear weapons.

“This is only the tip of the iceberg, these stories,” Salas told FoxNews.com.

Insanity prevails…Benny Hinn should apply for this job…maybe he can convince these idiots that his demonic apparitions are aliens…that will tickle the ears of his ignorant flock.

  5. blank Gerrie says:

What would you describe the sightings of Apollo 19 and Apollo 20, that there lies an alien space ship at the back of the moon? This can be viewed on Youtube.

  6. Paul says:

I believe in U.F.Os. Ok, before you jump all over me. Demons are aliens to this planet (as is Yashua Himself, his current natural habitat is the Third Heaven). There are UFOs but they are not little green men, they are demonic apparitions or secret aircraft and weaponry.

I believe that we are only informed of Technical and Scientific advancements when they are already obsolete.

I do know that about 10 years ago the USAF had a noiseless helicopter, as witnessed by my friend; I haven’t heard about it in the media. I’ve heard of quiet helicopters but not silent.

The USAF has/had an aircraft that is round. http://greyfalcon.us/pictures/Flying%20Saucers.htm

  7. UFO’s are indeed demons. No arguing about that.

Over the last 3 weeks there has been an influx of articles on the internet about UFO’s and about calls for the US gov to come clean regarding all those cover ups. Now this UN Space Ambassador thing.

We are in the end times. The Bible tells us that we will see lying SIGNS and WONDERS. I think the UN are preparing for something big.

  8. blank Burning Lamp says:

There have been speculations as to how the world would explain the disappearance of believers taken in the Rapture and one of the theories is that they were abducted by aliens.

Also, one can only wonder how the apparitions of Mary play into all of this.

There should be no doubt that we are living on the edge of eternity and the predicted apostasy is in full bloom. Hopefully those clinging to the Rock in the midst of the storm will not have much longer to wait.

Maranatha! Even so come Lord Jesus!

  9. BL

You read my mind. I am going to look for all info on that subject. Satan’s excuse to the public to explain the rapture – an alien abduction. And he is so convincing everyone believes him.

  10. Paul says:

    Gerrie.
Hi. No one has been on the moon, it is impossible to survive there at 400 degrees C. Also, I have been in the “Eagle” capsule and it is impossible for two “Ass”tronauts to even get out of it wearing a space suit it is so small. Study all of the pics and you will see the deception clearly.

Forget about 80% of everything you have been taught, in all areas of life. The Lord says that “..all have been deceived..”, get that – ALL.

My mission is to deceived Christians (in Scripture, Health & Healing, NWO) so if you want proof positive of what I am saying, e-mail me [EMAIL REMOVED] and I will send my pamphlet on it.

  11. Hi Paul

Sorry I had to remove your email address. If Gerrie wants it he can comment saying he would like it and then I will email it to him.

Secondly, you said… “My mission is to deceived Christians….” I am guessing I am reading this the wrong way LOL

  12. blank Moemsie says:

Can it be possible that with all the holographic and techno advances `aliens ` can be created to `APPEAR`? Yes lying wonders and miracles! Also demons can possess humans and possibly have done so already.

I agree, the ufo`s can be advanced stealth craft-operating for many years with electro magnetism? Our younger generations who grew up with sci-fi might warmly embrace anything!

  13. Moemsie

I agree with you on this one too. I think this is what they will do. Who knows what the UN and other governments of the world have built in their garages. I believe that Satan has given mankind occult knowledge to create very advanced spacecraft that we don’t know about. The bible says it will be lying wonders and miracles (as you said Moemsie). I truly believe that no UFO / Demon can materialize on earth (become a tangible being). The bible says they are principalities and powers of the AIR. That is all. The time will come however when Satan will possess the man of lawlessness, and only then will he have a physical body -at this time he will have supernatural powers and create fire in the sky, etc, etc, etc.

  14. blank logica says:

Is it inconceivable for God to have made more intelligent lifeforms than just us Humans? Whoa re we to say he didn’t. The bible doesn’t say he did, nor does it say he didn’t. So who are we to say with such certainty what God did and did not do?

Man being created in God’s image doesn’t meant that there aren’t other Humans out there, nor doe sit meant there aren’t intelligent non-human lifeforms… all equally fallible, imperfect, incomplete, and very mortal as we are. And having an older society or more advanced society and being bale to traverse the star with this technological advancement isn’t necessarily out of the question, either. Again, how do you know?

Second, why would Demons need technological devices to fly around in? Can’t they come out of the shadows and act a little bit more covertly than that?

Do not speak so authoritatively without absolute proof of your credibility. It is not evil nor wrong to believe in extraterrestrial life and to believe that such life is very much like us.

If I am not mistaken, by the way, Jesus said, “I have other sheep to attend to, not of this fold.” If he did not refer to extraterrestrials, who did he refer to?

  15. blank Carm says:

One theory is that the “aliens” could launch a One World Religion. Many atheists, such as Richard Dawkins, have theorised that “alien seeding” started life on earth – it’s called the alien intelligent designer theory. I’ve had a bad feeling about intelligent design (and then one day I turned on the TV and there was a muslim show on saying how intelligent design proves how Allah created everything; and then I learned that the New Agers absolutely love intelligent design) – so that’s my issue with ID: it doesn’t present a case for Christ. So if there is some hoax in which the aliens land and say they “seeded” life on earth, helped evolution along in some sticky places via intelligent design, there is no God, and they have been helping humanity along by visiting on the form of Jesus, Mo and Buddah – well that will please just about everybody, expect “fundamentalist christians”. All the charismatics need to convince them is a fuzzy feeling, vision and audible voice (and I would know because I was one).

Following on from BL’s theory: apparently the “spirit guides” / “ascended masters” have told the New Agers that they will take the Christians away because they will enterfere with man’s evolution into godhood… but I’m not going to put too much weight on what demons have promised occultists.

I’m not sure if that would happen because “and then the aliens landed” doesn’t fit in well with traditional dispensational escatology. But it would be a fanstastic deception.

  16. Carm

Goodness, you know I have never heard about this theory of Intelligent Design before. The other day I received an email from someone telling me that I must watch TV this past Sunday morning because they would discuss ID on a Christian program. I completely forgot like the chop that I am LOL.

  17. blank Carm says:

Deb, unfortunately it’s christianity’s latest answer to evolution: saying that some things in nature are so complex that it points to a designer, an Intelligent Designer. That seems reasonable, but the problem is that Designer could be anybody. Many ID theorists believe evolution happened to some extent… they often find themselves at odds with young earth creationists (who believe that the earth is 7000 years old). Many christian movements are abandoning the defense of the literal biblical account of creation, for the more fashionable and scientific Intelligent Design… instead of days we have “time periods”… I asked a christian friend who believes in such less literal ‘time periods’: “So who was Adam?” She couldn’t answer that, but understood the implications on the gospel.

Here’s a quote from the “Discovery Institute”, the think-tank that gave us intelligent design (and no, they’re not just evangelical christians, some are catholics, jews and agnostics):

“Unlike creationism, the scientific theory of intelligent design is agnostic regarding the source of design and has no commitment to defending Genesis, the Bible or any other sacred text.”
