Have You or a Loved One Been Raised From the Dead?

Raised From the DeadHave You or a Loved One Been Raised From the Dead? Then WE are looking for YOU, and you have come to the right place to tell us about your miracle.

If you are a pastor who has raised someone from the dead, or someone who died and was raised from the dead due to a pastor’s prayer or laying on of hands, etc.  Then please tell us your story.

We have heard that miracles are taking place all over the world, where people are dying and being raised from the dead through the gifts bestowed on pastors to be able to do many signs and wonders.

This is your chance to speak to the world, to tell the world your story and of course, provide proof as there are many scamsters around.  Therefore we do ask that you can provide proof:   Names, dates, places, time of death, time of resurrection,  hospital, doctor’s names, contact numbers, witnesses, church name, pastor’s name, newspaper reports, magazine articles, death certificates, Xrays, medical documentation, videos, etc.

Thank you

We had one only two weeks ago. Theresa:

I know who I am in Christ Jesus, I know that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in me and therefore I do believe I am given all authority and power to cast out demons, to lay hands on the sick and to raise the dead (all of these have been fruits of my ministry).

Would be hard to prove unless like Lazarus the person was in the grave for several days……dead and buried. Now THAT is a true resurrection!

Patricia King and company go around to funeral homes seeking to raise the dead – don’t think they have had any takers yet.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…….will be interesting to see if there are any responses.

  5. blank Michael says:

Indeed this is where this type of ministry casts a smear on the integrity on the Christian faith…of course God can raise the dead as He can do anything but He simply does not allow man to misuse this power and sensationise this because He knows what is in man’s heart and man’s vanity and manipulation. This gift was indeed given to the apostles who He entrusted this power to do in the establishment of the Word…the completed fulfillment,ie the Bible. He simply does entrust this to man today as He knows that man will abuse this…ie to sensationise this.Miracles and healing do occur today but not at the demand of man…I have have witnessed God’s physical healing in my own life but nevertheless that was by His grace and not by demand…but God does NOT sensationalise healing for public sensationalism because of men’s hearts…ie I have yet to witness a healing of an amputated limp being grown again and anything that is extreme because of this factor …ie the tendancy of mankind to sensationise ,manipulate and exploit for his own benefit.

  6. blank Michael says:

I might add…I believe the reason He does not allow these claims and demands for the most important reason of all and that is the focus of man’s redemption…the Cross and all that it represents…the dying of the Son of God and the Ressurection to save man’s souls and to put to death death itself and sin that leads to this very death…this is the EMPHASIS of the completed Bible…we cannot add or subtract (or divert or distract) anything from this foundation stone.Confusion reigns when those who divert from this message and quote the Word completely out of context. Mankind misses the emphasis of this message when other contraversial issues are raised. This is the strategy of Satan because he is the father of deception.

    Michael

People like Theresa claim resurrections as the fruit of their ministry. Since I do not have this fruit I cannot be a sister in Christ and I am not saved. Theresa’s theology is therefor true and mine is false.

If they are going to make such claims, then they should proof it.

I once heard that people were raised from the dead during a revival in either the Phillipines or was it Indonesia I think in the 1950’s or 60’s…it was reported by missionaries who were serving there…I think the book was called “Like a mighty wind” or something like but there again although I cannot be sure of the authenticity of this.

This I was able to accept in those days as I came under the influence of charismatic teaching but have rejected recently their doctrines as I have been completely put-off by false prophets and teachers like Benny Hinn,Jerry Saville,Kim Clement,Osteen,Jakes and Joyce Meyer to name a few. These people tell blatant lies and live lives that are imbedded in unholiness and are money lovers. I cannot except testimonies that are flawed and have no integrity…the way of this world.

    His name was Mel Tari…

    “Judge Finds Evangelist Degrauded Heiress

By John Stewart in Los Angeles

    August 15, 1994

Evangelist Mel Tari, whose best-selling book “Like a Mighty Wind” claimed to detail miracles that occurred during the 1950s and 1960s, has been ordered to pay a former supporter approximately $1.1 million for fraud.

After a four-day trial in late June, an Orange County (Calif.) Superior Court judge ruled Tari had “conned” Christine Kline out of her inheritance.

It is unclear whether Tari will appeal the ruling.

Kline, 41, a former Youth with a Mission worker, was heir to a small fortune in corporate stock. She met Tari in 1985 and told him of her interest in using the stock assets to support herself and others in mission work.

Tari convinced Kline that he would set up a trust fund with the money. But instead, he sold $400,000 in stocks and used the proceeds to invest in a resort company. Tari claimed the funds had been a gift.

During the trial, accounts from Tari’s books were read, detailing miracles performed in Indonesia, including a legless man growing legs instantly after Tari’s prayers. Kline testified that, at the time, she believed Tari had special powers to work physical and financial miracles.

The judge ordered Tari to pay $725,000 in damages. With interest, the award was estimated to be $1.1 million”.

On Benni Hinn…when I was outspoken and condemned his methods to the pastor of the church I used to fellowship in…he used the typical stance taking by people who are deceived by this type of ministry…he told me I was speaking against God’s annointed and was in danger of God’s judgement.

“The Lord also tells me to tell you in the mid 90’s, about ’94-’95, no later than that, God will destroy the homosexual community of America. [audience applauds] But He will not destroy it – with what many minds have thought Him to be, He will destroy it with fire. And many will turn and be saved, and many will rebel and be destroyed.”

    – Benny Hinn.

Note that Benny Hinn claimed that God revealed the above prophecies to him. Now either God has erred, or Benny Hinn invented these prophecies and he never heard from God. The truth should be obvious – Benny Hinn does not hear from God, he is without doubt a false prophet.

Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Ezek 13:2 [NIV] “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: ‘Hear the word of the LORD!
Ezek 13:3 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!
Ezek 13:4 Your prophets, O Israel, are like jackals among ruins.
Ezek 13:5 You have not gone up to the breaks in the wall to repair it for the house of Israel so that it will stand firm in the battle on the day of the LORD.
Ezek 13:6 Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. They say, “The LORD declares,” when the LORD has not sent them; yet they expect their words to be fulfilled.
Ezek 13:7 Have you not seen false visions and uttered lying divinations when you say, “The LORD declares,” though I have not spoken?
Ezek 13:8 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign LORD.
Ezek 13:9 My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.

Now with that kind of record for Benny Hinn, Trinity Broadcasting Network began its Spring 2000 fundraising Praise-A-Thon with some rather astounding claims. On the April 2nd TBN program, Benny Hinn claimed that God is about to make a major move to anoint the people of God, as soon as Israel signs a treaty with the ailing Hafez Al-Assad* of Syria, which will likely be within the next year. This will signal the impending large scale shift of financial wealth from the wicked to those obedient to God. But, in order to benefit from this unprecedented supernatural anointing, you must be obedient to God and sow your financial seed (to TBN) now!

However, its not the money that really concerns God, its your total obedience. The greatest danger that Christians face now, according to Hinn, is disobedience against God by not contributing financially to the coming harvest of God with your seed money! You must be willing to give your all, in order to demonstrate your true obedience. In fact, Benny revealed that God is even now healing those who call in their contributions to TBN. But this is not selling healing for money, he says, it is God blessing those who are truly obedient and worthy to receive his coming unusual anointing! Indeed, God will even be saving people you know as you are calling in your pledge to TBN. Great signs and wonders are anticipated this coming year, and Benny even told Paul Crouch to expect that there will be dead people raised this year! (R. W. Schambach claimed to have raised a dead man on another later TBN program, in addition to healing the blind, deaf, mute, and lame.) The implication is that you will be bypassed by God and miss out on the supernatural anointing to come if you are not totally obedient to God and call in your pledge to TBN now!

    ——————————————————————————–

    * The death of Assad on June 10th 2000 shows that Benny Hinn did not know what he was talking about, and is further proof that he is a false prophet, if any more evidence was needed.

Benny Hinn’s failed prophecy of a peace treaty with Syria’s Hafez Al-Assad (© April 2nd, 2000 by TBN) Note: this clip has been edited for the sake of file size, and has several places where content has been edited out. A brief pause occurs at those points.

On the 25th of July, 2000 (© July 25th, 2000 by TBN) when peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians broke down in Washington, Benny Hinn again appeared on a TBN program and said, regarding the recent death of Hafez Al-Assad and his failure to make peace with Israel, – “…it was God’s plan for it not to happen, really.”

    ——————————————————————————–

Perhaps God had not foreseen Assad’s death, or neglected to tell Benny about it, and maybe God had also misinformed Benny about His alleged “coming move” that was merely weeks or a few months away. That, or God does not talk to Benny Hinn, and Benny invented the entire “move of God” thing in order to extract money from TBN viewers. Which is more likely?

JESUS WILL APPEAR PHYSICALLY BEFORE THE SECOND COMING!

Is there nothing that TBN or Benny Hinn will not stoop to in order to extract money from viewers? Well, to top everything, Benny Hinn claimed that Jesus is now physically appearing in Moslem countries, and he predicted on the April 2nd 2000 TBN broadcast that Jesus will appear physically very soon in many churches to signal the nearness of the second coming, and that Jesus would also appear physically on the stage at his crusade in Nairobi Kenya (29th -30th of April, 2000)! He told Paul Crouch he might very well have video of Jesus on the stage when he returned from his trip to Kenya!

    April 2nd, 2000 – TBN Praise-a-thon

“Ladies and gentleman, Jesus is shaking the world! Now something else is happening that is to me awesome! Absolutely awesome! The Lord is physically appearing in the Muslim world. I’m telling you, Paul, I am hearing it now more and more and more. Since we preachers cannot go there, Jesus is – just going there Himself. Since we preachers are not permitted to go in, He is just showing up – Himself. You know the Scriptures says clearly that the Lord did appear, did He not? Ah for forty days, isn’t that right? And the, and the, and the Scriptures says he, he, he even, he even appeared to Paul. Now we are always thinking, well Jesus can’t really preach, preach the Gospel. Who told you that? He was the first one to preach the Gospel. In fact He is the one who came to Paul and said, Paul, I am Jesus. He, He didn’t send no angel to do that job. He did it Himself. If Jesus revealed Himself to Paul, why not reveal Himself to a lot more than just Paul? And He is doing it! The reason the Lord had to appear to Paul is because He knew Paul wouldn’t listen to nobody else. Now in the case of Cornelius, the angel said send for Peter, ’cause, because Cornelius was, was ready, his heart was right, he’d been in prayer. But here’s Paul killing everybody, causing ’em to blaspheme, Jesus said this man won’t even listen to an angel, so I’ll go do the job myself. So He went and knocked him right off his horse and preached the Gospel to him. He’s doing the same thing today in the Muslim world. He’s appearing, hear this, He is appearing to Muslims, saying I am Jesus of Nazareth! And they’re coming to know the Lord! Why are those things happening? It’s the last days! Saints, this is why we need to give to the Gospel now more than ever. You know naively say well I gave last year. Forget it! Last year it’s gone! That cycle is over with! Seed time – harvest of last year is gone. Every season is a fresh season. We are in a fresh season. What, what you gave last year will not reap you anything this year. What you gave even a few months ago is gone, you got the harvest for that.”

    April 2nd, 2000 – TBN Praise-a-thon

“The hour is urgent. Many of you have known me for many years. But I am telling you right now, things I haven’t said years ‘n years ‘n years ago. I believe – here this, hear this! I believe, that Jesus, God’s Son, is about to appear physically, in meetings and to believers around the world, to wake us up! He appeared after His resurrection and He is about to appear before His second coming! You know a prophetess sent me a word through my wife, right here, and she said ‘Tell your husband that Jesus is go’n to physically appear in his meetings.’ I am expecting to see, I am telling you that – I feel it’s going to happen. I, I, I’m, I’m careful in how I am saying it now, because I know the people in Kenya are listening. I know deep in my soul, something supernatural is going to happen in Nai – in Nairobi Kenya. I feel that. I may very well come back, and you and Jan are coming, to – Paul and Jan are coming to Nairobi with me, but Paul, we may very well come back with footage of Jesus on the platform! You know that the Lord appeared in Romania recently, and there’s a video of it? Where the Lord appeared in the back of a church and you see him on video walking down the isle? Yeah! Paul do you remember when I came on TBN years ago and showed you a clip of the Lord appearing in our church in Orlando, on the balcony on the wall? Yeah. You, you remember that? [Paul Crouch] Very well, I saw it! [Benny Hinn] That was ’80, 80 something, ’86, what – whatever. You know I always wondered why the Lord, why did He do that? Do you know why, now I look back? That was the beginning of the greatest move of God in our church. Because ’83, ’84, and ’85 were horrible years for me, horrible years. Eighty-six the blessings of God began, but they began with a – with this manifestation of the Lord’s face on, on the balcony, that stayed for eight weeks. Eight solid weeks! The Lord has done this in the past, but He is about to do it again, now hear this, I am prophesying this! Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is about to appear physically in some churches, and some meetings, and to many of His people, for one reason – to tell you He is about to show up! To Wake Up! Jesus is coming saints! You have held back from the Lord in the past, don’t you dare do it now. The day will come you’ll stand before Him and give an answer. How dare we not give to God. How dare we hold back.”

Note: Lest anyone misunderstand, I say the above with tongue in cheek – the man and his ministry must be examined. Just the fact that this video is on a site that links to the Signs and Wonders crowd calls for scrutiny. But the pastor giving the testimony does seem to be sincere.

  16. The failed prophecy that Jesus would appear physically in Nairobi, Kenya

Actually Maitreya (aka Satan) did appear to a large group of people in Nairobi Kenya. Worst of all, 3 days prior to this, Reinard Bonkke told the world that Jesus would appear in Kenya too…

    Hmm

  17. BL

Eureka? LOLOL You must have been looking fiercely for this one.

His name is Surprise…. and I wont be surprised if this was faked. I will check it out tomorrow.

Todd Bentley raised…what was it? 32 people from the dead during the lakeland revival. He taunted the media to come see the miracles at his revival so ABC night-line gave him an interview and steam rolled over him as he could not come up with one bona-fide healing let alone a dead person now walking.

I know that Reinard Bonnke also raised someone from the dead a while ago and was bust when the dead man came forward and explained that it was faked. Recently Bonnke raised a child from the dead too but no proof supplied either. Just of a woman holding the child. See in Africa, when you pay people peanuts you can get people to say anything you want. Also, in Africa, they will come to you and make up stories just to get some money.

  18. BL

And you are right. Being in the grave for a few days like Lazarus and then raised from the dead would indeed be a REAL ‘surprise’.

  19. blank Michael says:

    The link is
    Benni Hinn A false prophet.

I put this in because apart from his “prophetic powers” that go off-track and healings that go awry, he also claims to raise the dead.

What is frightening about this…if was not so funny and ludicrous…is that multitudes of people who claim to be Christians (and I believe there are genuine saved ones amongst them) fall for this and zealously defend him…it seems that the deception is frightingly satanic.

  20. Michael

    Thanks for the link.

he also claims to raise the dead.

Yes he does. There is a Youtube video where someone busts him on this. He claimed someone was raised from the dead on the stage right in front of him and then when asked by the media or something he denies it emphatically. See if you can find it. It’s quite a funny video.

What I find really funny is that most ‘resurrections’ take place in Africa where no one can prove a thing. And it’s a very sad state of affairs because of the lack of education and rife witchcraft people believe anything and everything they are told.

it seems that the deception is frightingly satanic

Earlier I was looking for a way to describe the deception in one of my comments and ‘frighteningly satanic’ is exactly what it is.

Debs, surprised you hadn’t heard of Pastor Surprise. 🙂 Yippers, that’s his name.

What amazes me is that no one holds these guys accountable on these false prophecies but they still follow these “anointed” ones and support and defend them. I guess it is called delusion. And I agree w/Michael – some of them are probably saved, but never properly discipled and taught to rightly divide the Word.

Those who believe they can freelance and just let the Spirit guide are walking on shaky ground and are setting themselves up for delusion.

  23. BL

There are many of these ‘pastors’ in Africa. I said to Michael below that it’s due to lack of education AND because Africa is infused with witchcraft. Tribes, ancestry, rituals, etc just end up crossing over into the so called Christian churches. So if they hear of a so called Christian raising someone from the dead believe me they will believe it because they know the ‘power’ of witchcraft and what it can do.

Faith Like Potatoes, or Biblical Faith?
    by Shaun Willcock

“The film depicts some incredible miracles that God accomplishes through and around Angus. Perhaps, the most awe-inspiring part of the film is the point when, through the prayer of Angus, God raises to life a farm worker who had been struck dead by lightning” (Africa Christian Action film review).

Well, that’s to be expected when one makes a movie based on the life of a Charismatic “faith healer.” But let’s get real here. Angus Buchan prayed and a person (in this case a woman) was raised to life? Many, many Charismatic “faith healers” have made such astounding claims; but not one of them has ever been truly verified. Nor will it ever happen. The Lord Jesus Christ raised the dead when He ministered on earth, and He, through His servants, raised others to life in the apostolic age after He had ascended back to heaven; but after that? These miracles were among “the signs of an apostle” (see 2 Cor. 12:12; Heb. 2:3,4), and the apostolic ministry ceased in the first century AD. No one is an apostle today, it was a foundational ministry of the early Church, before the Scriptures were complete (Eph. 2:20). The gift of “working of miracles” (1 Cor. 12:10) was, like the gifts of tongues, prophecy, and miraculous healing, a temporary gift given to the apostles and a few others in the apostolic age; it is not given to anyone today.

Anyone, today, who claims to have raised someone from the dead is either deliberately lying, or is utterly
    deceived.
I am not saying that Angus was deliberately trying to deceive people by making this claim. Doubtless he really believes that a woman was raised to life through his prayer; but in this he is terribly deceived. It is easy to make the claim that someone has been raised to life; but what solid evidence is there? Was the woman truly verified as being dead? Were there competent witnesses who can attest to it? Not all who are struck by lightning die – but doubtless many would have felt like they were dead!

From time to time, from all over the world, we hear accounts of people supposedly raised to life by some Pentecostal “healer” or other. But where is the proof? Must we just take their word for it? That is simply not good enough.

No, Faith Like Potatoes is not a truly Christian movie. It is a movie about a fiery Charismatic “faith healer”, a likeable, personable and compassionate man who doubtless believes that the message he is preaching is the true Gospel of Christ. But for it to be a Christian movie, it must present biblical Christianity, not the deceptions of Pentecostal/Charismatic error. As a “Christian” movie, then, it completely fails the test.

    Please read on here :

  25. Elmarie

through the prayer of Angus, God raises to life a farm worker who had been struck dead by lightning

Hehe, yes I read about this a while ago.

  26. Ok, now I am going to sleep! I will rise in the morning LOL.

  27. blank Burning Lamp says:

Debs, thx 4 bringing me up to speed about the situation in Africa. This makes total sense – similar to what happens in countries where Roman Catholicism intersects with animism and voodoo and witchcraft. Johanna Michaelson tells of witnessing surgeries by hand with no instruments, supernatural healings. Some of these things are real phenomena and some are crafted by the enemy in the imagination.

And as far as Patricia King and her gang goes, apparently they really believe that someone who has been prepared for burial by a mortuary and embalmed could be resurrected. Maybe they should focus their efforts in 3rd world countries where the person has to be buried within 24 hours because the body is not preserved? Did Oh my did I really say that?

  28. blank Michael says:

The problem about these contraversal issues is that it is indeed sad as the misinterpretation of these gifts is totally out of context today and does lead to even the elect away from the true emphasis of the greatest miracle of all…God taking up the cause of man’s fallen state and becoming man in the flesh, taking our sins and eniquities upon Himself and dying at the cross at Calvary (Golgotha) to offer Himself as an atonement so that we can receive this…repent of our sins and accept this atonement personally…so as to offer us eternal life.
This in itself is incredible and miraculous…the greatest miracle of all but it seems that with some people who call themselves truly born-again, this not enough and they seek additional stimuli of having their “ears tickled” and seek sensationalism.God in Himself and in the Son is complete…Jesus finished the job completely…indeed His own words are “It is finished”

  29. Elmarie A says:

    Deborah (Discerning the World)

You know the sad thing is that most Christians have watched this movie. I even had family in USA Atlanta who asked me about this and how wonderful this movie was. Yikes ! Yes and I thought so too at the time and bawled my eyes out. And now I realize that these movie makers play on ones emotions and they zoom in on that, why? because it is and EMOTIONAL experience!!! Yes and that is how they catch you the chops.

Now when people ask me what do/did I think about the movie I just Quote them this :

No, Faith Like Potatoes is not a truly Christian movie. It is a movie about a fiery Charismatic “faith healer”, a likeable, personable and compassionate man who doubtless believes that the message he is preaching is the true Gospel of Christ. But for it to be a Christian movie, it must present biblical Christianity, not the deceptions of Pentecostal/Charismatic error. As a “Christian” movie, then, it completely fails the test. by Shaun Willcock

I think he summed it up pretty good in short.

And they will even deceive the elect.

    Matthew 24:24
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.

We can only watch and pray for mercy from the Lord our God.

    TO ALL

Miracles concerning raising from the dead are happening this is because Jesus is still alive. There was a dead boy raised to life in Finland when William Branham prayed for him when Branham went to preach in Finland he had even been shown about the incident in a vision.

To this day it still happens, for more testimonies visit [Link removed. Toxic. Admin] and there are many more.

All you need to do is to ask in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST,believe with all your heart for all things are possible to them that believe.
