Reflexology – Eastern Occult practice where points on your feet and hands are connected to your inner organs via energy lines or meridian lines. There are 5 Elements, these Five Elements are known as wood, fire, water, earth, and metal which form a pentagram. The body is also split into 2 groups, the Yin and Yang;  The Yin and Yang are considered to be opposites.

  • Yin represents the night, dark, feminine, left side of the body, eternity, etc.
  • Yang is its opposite and represents day, light, masculine, right side of the body, history, etc.

So besides all the other occult teaching, flake healings and dubious practices that go on at his church he offers reflexology. What’s next Yoga? Contemplative Prayer?  Oh I should not speak too loud.]

why is it always the preachers that get results that get accused of being false prophets? What about the boring churches down the road where no one gets saved, healed, touched, emotionally fixed etc. Just because someone is imperfect does not mean that he is a false prophet. I bet you someone could add you to the list! I believe that Kobus has good teaching and that does not mean i agree with everything he says. I certainly don’t agree with the tithing in the new testament and I believe it does get manipulated by preachers knowingly and unknowingly. As for arguing with me i will be off line for about 2 months. I think it is good to expose error, but don’t think all your doctrine is correct and don’t label every christian who thinks different to you as being a false prophet or say thay they are unsaved. Kobus has his heart in the right place and he is doing a lot of good for the kingdom, but he is still not 100%, but like they say if yu find a perfect church, don’t join it as it will then become imperfect. lease name me a perfect preacher!

  2. Bryan

So what you are saying is that you don’t know your bible at all because Kobus preaches what is called Manifest Sons of God teaching where they believe that before Jesus Christ returns people will be turned into little gods. If you knew your bible, you would know that that is FALSE TEACHING and stay far away from Kobus van Rensburg.

Another thing, do you have ANY PROOF that his healings are real? There are no proof. In fact I have asked members of his church for proof and they can’t provide a single document. How do you know people are REALLY AND TRULY saved? You don’t Bryan. You are only guessing.

Stop guessing. A TRUE MAN OF GOD’s doctrine is 100% correct. Yet you prefer lies mixed in with truth. What kind of a pastor is that? Where did he get his credentials from?

How do you know Kobus heart is in the right place? You are guessing again.

I have been physically threatened by his followers on this blog, you can go and click on the links above and READ what his followers have to say in the comments section – all there, nothing hidden.

And again, you are guessing that my doctrine is all wrong because you have not even asked me about anything you disagree with. Pfff. Bryan, Bryan, come now… your thoughts are pie in the sky, gimme something tangible to go on.

Same old story over again by those indoctrinated by word of faith teachings…defending man and not the scriptures…it’s amazing how much mind control these preachers and teachers have over their followers…they set up a type of hierachy (pecking order) which they call authority over their members and with manipulated distorted teachings extort money from their gullible flock.

Hi Deborah, I dont have enough knowledge of the Bible to ever get involved in arguments about false prophets or false doctrines, so mostly i have to go on what I “feel” about these things. my first feeling about kvr was not good. And I have to say, there is just something there I dont trust! I want to know if you agree with me or not – my problem with faith healings is, why doesnt everybody get healed, and why need something like a miracle pool? If you have a gift of healing, why dont you go out in the world (like the disciples) and heal people and spread the Word of God? Building these empires just feels wrong for me.

  5. Emma

Read this article: Can Satan heal – https://www.discerningtheworld.com/2010/12/08/can-satan-heal/ You see, we are to go directly to Jesus Christ if we want healing 🙂 there is no middleman anymore.
Also, there are no more prophets: https://www.discerningtheworld.com/2011/01/17/are-prophets-for-today-or-has-prophecy-ceased/ because each believer has the Holy Spirit and the bible contains all the prophecy we need 🙂

The miracle pool by the way is what the Jews used to go to when they were still under Law. John 5:1-15. We are no longer under Law because Jesus came to fulfill it. Except when you walk into Kobus’ church you are.

    Bryan…
Did you know that Rat poison is also not pure poison?
In fact… it is 99% good food and 1% poison. It still kills.

  7. blank Bryan says:

Back again to pester you! You certainly like attacking people. If you are going for the 100% that is great so is Kobus. So you must alos be going for Perfection, Immortality, the manifested sons of God etc. Kobus says he hasn’t quite reached it yet so he admits he is not 100% yet. The bible is quite plain that we should be perfect like our heavenly father and that is what we should be striving for. Is there something wrong with that. So it is good to hear Robbie that you are perfect and more than 99%. I do know my bible Deb, but I doubt I could sit down with you and have a none emotional discussion as you would probably just go off the rocker. You don’t sound at all stable and from what you are saying I can see you know little of what the bible says. By teh way did you know that Peter had to be rebuked by Paul for preaching wrong or false doctrine – so in your terms he was a false prophet and so were the other apostles who Paul had to rebuke – and Barnabas. Paul himself got arrested for going to the temple and he was doing a Jewish rite as he was a Nazarene – so even he was not perfect and if a mans doctrine is imperfect then he is not yet there – find me a perfect man

  8. blank Bryan says:

Just looking at the Pool we have to consider that Jesus used many ways to heal. He used water in spit, mud which has water, cloths with the apostloes, the word, touching etc. So if he chooses to use his disciples today as vessels of teh Holy Spirit he can still do the same. The pool of Soloam was touched by the annointing through an angel and people were healed. Today in different churches God still heals and trys to make people whole and so if a pool is one means then so what is wrong with that. thelifeofjesuschrist.net

  9. Bryan

Attacking you? So asking you a question means I am attacking you? LOL. Anyway…

    >> So you must alos be going for Perfection, Immortality, the manifested sons of God etc. Kobus says he hasn’t quite reached it yet so he admits he is not 100% yet. The bible is quite plain that we should be perfect like our heavenly father and that is what we should be striving for.

No Bryan, there is a big difference between being SAVED and having ETERNAL LIFE and being SANCTIFIED and GROWING to be like Jesus Christ vs Kobus who wants to be IMMORTAL (become a god / a Christ) on earth and will achieve it and become godlike! No person on this earth will ever be perfect EVER until we are in heaven. Kobus however wants to achieve this status while on earth.

Seeing that you know your bible so well, please provide scripture for me that states that we become IMMORTAL (a little god) on earth before Jesus Christ come back?

    >> By teh way did you know that Peter had to be rebuked by Paul for preaching wrong or false doctrine – so in your terms he was a false prophet and so were the other apostles who Paul had to rebuke – and Barnabas.

Peter never preached false teaching. But in the case with Paul rebuking him, you know what Peter did? He repented for his error and stopped it. That’s the difference Bryan, REPENTANCE and a changing of ways. No FALSE TEACHER will EVER want to teach ERROR – they will make a point of finding out the truth because the guidance of the Holy Spirit in them.

Go read John 5 and then I want you to come back and tell me what you read there. I’ll give you a hint, it’s got to do with the LAW. Tell me why Jesus did not put the man into the pool to be healed. Then I would like you to please quote those well known scriptures for us please about what happens to those who do not keep ALL of the LAW.

    John 5

A Man Healed at the Pool of Bethesda

1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda,[a] having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.[b] 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
11 He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’”
12 Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
15 The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.

  11. blank sylesa says:

bryan, go back and read the scriptures, PETER WAS NOT PREACHING FALSE DOCTRINE!

9And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

10Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

11But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

12For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.

13And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

14But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

15We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

16Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

17But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

18For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

19For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

21I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain

Peter was ACTING the hypocrite because he was afraid of the circumcision. Paul said that when he saw that he “WALKED NOT UPRIGHTLY” according to the truth of the gospel, Paul opposed him to his face….

And Deborah is right , he repented. You find Peter later in 2 peter 3 referring to Paul as our beloved brother Paul. Peter accepted the rebuke Paul gave him. This is not the heart of a false teacher! You will find that the false teachers DO NOT accept correction.

    15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

  12. blank Michael says:

Bryan commented…”So if he chooses to use his disciples today as vessels of teh Holy Spirit he can still do the same. The pool of Soloam was touched by the annointing through an angel and people were healed.”

Ofcourse He can do anything but He already has fulfilled everything at the Cross…hey do you guys understand Calvary???…what actually happened there…the greatest act of all, nothing else matters…have you been there??? all other things are red-herrings and pale into insignificance…why are you so fooled by man’s itchy cravings for the miraculous when the greatest miracle of all…God’s saving grace was performed there…get your priorities straight…people who are side-tracked by the miraculous are not understanding the full impact of what Christ did and want “extras”…ears tickled…signs and wonders…happenings that are strange…this type of faith is not the simplicity of the cross but comes from the sinful leanings of the human heart which finds the mystic and phenominal attractive.

  13. blank Michael says:

Bryan you said…You certainly like attacking people.

Poor Bryan nobody is attacking you or anybody else…just false teaching…lies and abusing the scriptures…just be humble and without anybody’s influence start reading the bible prayerfully and with integrity so that God can give you the answer…please do not defend man or need a third party…if you really mean business with Him and are honest and entirely dependent on Him He will show and guide you…forget about all other advice.

  14. Bryan

    >>Sylesa said, “PETER WAS NOT PREACHING FALSE DOCTRINE!”

Oh yes, that was the other thing, NO disciple ever preached false doctrine Bryan.

  15. blank leona says:

came upon your comments by chance. Why is there such a raucous about a man. Until someone goes to him and “opposes him face to face” this is truly a battle on unleveled ground. all of you have so much good to share. Why not do this, instead of fighting each other. Choice was given as a blessing to us, the created; you “choose” your path and accept responsibility for it good or bad, until you decide to “choose” otherwise

  16. leona

    1) Kobus van rensburg has been questioned about his false teaching by others face to face and it has done nothing to stop him
    2) We do not fight eachother (flesh) but principalities of evil (spirits) who’s sole aim it is to capture a mans soul
    3) We are to PREACH THE TRUTH (the Great Commission)
    4) As lovely as your little idea sounds (you “choose” your path and accept responsibility for it good or bad, until you decide to “choose” otherwise) – it does not work that way. The Bible is EXPLICIT that if you know the truth you are to WARN others. Otherwise the blood of that individual will be on YOUR HANDS.
    5) I urge you to go read your bible.

  17. blank Michael says:

Typical…the cart before the horse perception of those contaminated by word of Faith and all the other infections and nunu’s…Christ came to save us from our sin…bottom line…still there are teachers that cannot and will not face this and keep it simple.

  18. blank Robbie says:

Leona… you only gave half the truth and that is exactly what ear tickling is.
Choice can be both blessing AND curse.

    Deu 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
Deu 11:27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
Deu 11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

  19. blank Desmond says:

We must remember one thing. It is not about the man. Men and woman all over the world puts too much trust in men, in governments, rulers and even idols. Jesus said “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will I draw all men unto me” Jn.12:32. All this flamboyance to impress the multitudes is a grave misrepresentation of our Saviour. David was a man after the heart of God, but when he bore the presence of God (The Ark) which symbolically represented God’s presence, he made a breach in their relationship
(Read it in 2 Sam. chapter 6) The moral of the story for all saints alike, is the following:-
No matter what we do for God, even if we do it with all our might, unless the service is done God’s way, and according to his ordinances, we do it at our own peril. The “Church” or true believers need to rethink their methods when they endeavour to rich souls for the Kingdom of God.

  20. blank Linda says:

Along the way reading all the posts, i really got tired. It is the same story over and over again. Kobus a false prophet. Accountable to God for our sins. Explain what you get from kobus’church. etc.

    My humble feedback.

Only a real man of God can heal the sick, (did you see all the crutches, heard all the testomonies – my father-in-law had prostate cancer – HE IS HEALED. Kobus does the healing in the NAME OF JESUS

What I got there? Something I was searching all my life for – the belief that I am a daughter of God.

Accountable to God for sin? What sin? Was all sin not forgiven on the cross? Am I not free, can I not blamesless and guiltfree come not before God.

People, this is gossiping. And that is agains the law of Moses. Rather, much more fun, abandon that law, and accept the mercy and grace of God. Go to Spirit Word, listen, and give your money gladly so that Kobus can pay for satelite and all the other things He is doing in listening to Jesus : “Tell the whole world”

Mercy and grace to all of you

Hi, I have been to Kobus van Rensburg’s church – that is all I am going to say. Let the Lord be our righteouss judge.

Deborah I noted that you said the is a difference between being SAVED and ETERNAL LIFE? Dont you receive eternal life when you get saved by grace? Using quoted scripture please explain what you mean.

P.S. What is your opinion of Joyce Meyer?

    Thanks Mignon

    >> Deborah I noted that you said the is a difference between being SAVED and ETERNAL LIFE? Dont you receive eternal life when you get saved by grace? Using quoted scripture please explain what you mean.

I don’t think I would have said such a thing. Once you are saved by grace you then receive eternal life. Unless I was arguing with someone who believed themselves to be Immortal, like the Kobus van Rensburg camp do. And I was stating that Immortality on earth had nothing to do with being genuine salvation, because their version of Immortality is not biblical.

My opinion on Joyce is written right over here: Joyce Meyer is a Little God With a Big Christ Consciousness

Sounds like a BIG god to me Debs…

    Joyce Meyer Says:
“I’m going to tell you something folks, I didn’t stop sinning until I finally got it through my thick head I wasn’t a sinner anymore. And the religious world thinks that’s heresy and they want to hang you for it. But the Bible says that I’m righteous and I can’t be righteous and be a sinner at the same time.”
“Now whether you like it or not, whether you want to admit it or not, whether you want to operate on it or not, you are made the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ. Most people who go to denominational churches never ever hear that! They never hear it! Never! All I was ever taught to say was, ‘I, a poor, miserable sinner.’ I am not poor. I am not miserable. And I am not a sinner. That is a lie from the pit of hell! That is what I were, and if I still was, then Jesus died in vain. Amen?” (Joyce Meyer, Cassette, From the Cross to the Throne, Life Christian Center, Saint Louis)

  26. blank Burning Lamp says:

Wonder how Joyce subdues her flesh/sin nature – stuck it in a closet or flushed it down the toilet? I too am a sinner saved by grace, but I still sin. I’d like to follow Joyce around for a day and observe her sinless perfection.

  27. blank Robbie says:

Could be either BL… That 30 000 dollar toilet seems to be an antique closet.
